55% huh...
Just go on IGN.com or Xplay.com and see how much resources your computer uses.
Jobs didn't say anything that's not true. Flash is slow and clunky and is a CPU power eater. Most of the times your web browser freezes or crashes is due to adobe flash. Anyone who knows how to run Activity Monitor or Windows Task Manager can plainly see that even the most trivial use of flash within in a webpage eats up extraordinary resources.
ANd they managed to squeeze it all on one disc? Seems fishy to me. If this game is only on one disc i can't even begin to think just how much stuff they had to cut out and have it as DLC later on. I have feeling the real ending for this game won't be on the disc but will be out in a DLC form.
One more red flag.
on other news...Red Steal 2 developer was caught trying to buy crack during a police raid on on of the major crack hubs in the city.
Now that's what I call a patch.
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they are not out there to get you.
Yeah, and Codemasters are gonna change that right?
I just love it when Developers bad mouth other games in order to do PR for their own.
So what happened? Having Sony and the PS3 as their punching beg just wasn't cutting it anymore?
"A lone warrior standing on a field of battle, surveying the carnage before him."
I help but remember this quote from God of War 2 and the quote from Jaffe that "GoW3 will ultimately explain why there are no more Greek myths."
Now why would they even want to do another Tomb Raider game after seeing Uncharted 2. I really can't imagine the what the tomb raider dev team felt when they saw and played Uncharted 2. They have a pretty steep mountain to climb and I hope they make it. I fear any tomb raider game from now on will be compared and considered as an uncharted 2 wannabe and not the other way around.
It's always fun reading articles from 360 fanboys. Someone should tell this guy that it's not 2006 anymore.
About the only time I've had an emotional response of any sort while playing Mass Effect 2 was during Mordin's loyalty quest. Besides that I found the way the game tired to incur any emotional response from the player just fell flat to me.
How come WoW isn't on this list? I think at roughly $70 million will put it at the top 3.
the character models still look like sh!t.
This is the difference between Sony's 1st party studios and MS 1st party Studios. Turn 10, look at this type of behavior and adopt it.
I think Valve are just running out of excuses.
What a scam. I will not support Ubisoft and this really perverted way of scamming a few more dollars out of the costumer. I am all for making money but this kind of deal is really low.
PASS!!!
The game wasn't that great to begin with. I had way more fun with the first one that I did with the second one.
A 7 from Edge for a Sony exclusives mean a 9 in the real world...JK...
In all seriousness. While I understand and respect the opinions of other people you all have to admit that Edge (and a large number of other publications) have been overly harsh with the games coming out from Sony.
Frankly I couldn't care less for what they think. Heavy Rain is trying to bring something new to the table in a sea FPS games and I welcome the change.
Most people here seem to forget that Jobs is talking about the mobile devices and not the desktop devices. People get it through your thick skulls, flash is molasses to mobile devices. it's just a resource eater on the desktop devices and even more so on the mobile devices. Hell, mobile devices don't even run a full version of flash and it's still runs like crap on them.
It's easier to teach a cow to bark then trying to inject logic and some sense into people on these boards.
