RUN FOREST, RUN!
An 8 from Eurogamer, huh?! I guess this game is really good then. /s
I was expecting Eurogamer to rip it a new a new one.
Where's the sequel?
Just amateurs.
LOL @ the Halo Reach port comment.
Loved the title.
I know GI to have it's ups and downs but this so called "cover story" is one of the worst I've ever read. All they did was just give a run down of the demo they played. No interviews, no questions about the game, nothing. The author should be ashamed of himself for this really low quality of a cover story.
Kinda funny and sad how the writer of that list didn't mention a single weapon from Insomniac's Ratchet & Clank series or the Resistance series seeing how it's a Playstation oriented web site. He didn't even gave an honorable mention to the weapons from Stranger's Wrath. Yes! he puts the lancer from Gears which all they did was added a chainsaw on an oversized assault rifle.
Just do everyone a big favor and stop making lists and go play some more gam...
Call me crazy but I honestly think Haze should be on that list. No other game like Haze has single handedly shown developers about about what not to do when developing a FPS game. You can say Turning Point and maybe Legendary but at least they had a cool concept going on.
I see MS taking the Halo bible and making a few changes to it, you know, like the real bible. Omit this, ignore that. MS and Activision are now gonna compete to see who can milk the most out of a single franchise though MS has the upper hand because they have another big name shooter in the form of a cog. All activision has besides CoD is..ummm...*scratches head*...COME ON help out here!
Halo: Carts!
Halo: Master chief Begins
Halo: Warfare Evolved
Halo...
Hey man...They added fire. They added fire.
Activision are actually looking to turn it into a CoD game. CoD: Mutant Force.
If Valve does it right and make a good version of L4D on the PS3 then why not. A collection disc would be nice and having them steam supported wouldn't be a bad move either. on the other hand f it never happens then it's no big deal. The only thing I can say for sure that you will see L4D3 on the PS3.
I wonder if the person who wrote that article knew that Sam's Club is wholly owned by Wal-Mart.
I just got done playing through The Forgotten Sands and I thought to myself how cool it would be if Ubisoft put all three games out God of War Collection style. Has anyone heard if they will have trophy support?
Then sell you gaming equipment and go off doing something else until the next gen comes alone (which won't be any time soon) or you can sit down and try to make a half assed effort in explaining your position. Personally I don't think that will ever happen seeing how you have no clue what you are talking about. SO please, wow everyone and make your position clear by explain how this gen has overstayed it's welcome. I suggest doing some research before you talk about issues that yo...
Looks improved but overall the same which is a good thing. While I think AS has a mediocre story line I absolutely love the art design Rocksteady went with. I really hope that will change the batsuit design. It seems illogical that Batman won't improve the design of his suit after his experiences in the first game.
I completely agree with your comment Kingdom Come. While those sequences were fun they represented nothing of Batman's fears. As far as the more mature theme then just forget about it because the Paul Dini just can't write a mature theme batman story, period. If you want a mature theme Batman game then have Brian Azzarello write it. You'll get a disturbing story that would chill you to the bone.
How come they didn't ask what they are doing to improve the boss fights from the first one. I swear that if they pull the same trick as the did with the first one I will put the game down and never play any Batman game and that's coming from someone who's a huge Batman fan.
Funny but it's EA's product and their decision about what to do with it. The consumer has the option to not buy it and thereby not support the company that implies a tactic that he disagrees with. Gamers will bitch but at the end of the day they will support the company by buying the games case and point Activision.
They claim to have high standards. i think it's just a case of wanting attention from the gamers. Negative reviews gets you more traffic. Look at Game Informer, They are constantly being accused of scoring games higher then the other media outlets because they are owned by Gamestop and there for people think they give games higher scores in order to sell them. Frankly I am getting tired of all this scoring game. Lately it seems that gamers are more interested in fanboyism then actually en...
