For a while the PS3 has very few big exlusives, when they do start coming out, no advertisement nothing.
Take Halo 3 for example sold so many but only 500'000 unique players in the last 24 hours. Why? Marketing. Now I love Halo and it's my favourite online game of all time (no bashing please) but lets face it, the hype surrounding it was amazing.

We'll only need motion sensing when we run out of buttons. Gears and fable still just waste the Y button, and many titles don't use much of the d-pad yet, although this is undertandable, just looking at the 360 d-pad hurts my brain. Such. Bad. Design. ...
And the triggers feel kind of...weak.

Dawn of war, Empire total war, Starcraft and many other games. Halo Wars wouldn't compete. Halo Wars looks like it could be the first halo game to score below 9.0 stupid microsoft milking the damn frachise.
Don't get me wrong halo3 is one of my all time favourite games (now there is something I want for PC). But I don't like the direction microsoft are pushing halo in.
Of course you can't trade it but then I am very careful bout what games I buy, I torrent first than buy later if it's good.
as a 15 year old,but I have played metal gear 2 but it made me sick so i ended my self torture. I really didn't get the hype, I agree with him here, I want to like it but I can't.
I played gta 3, vice city and gta 4 but completed none. 3 and vice city bored me and my gta4 cd doesn't work now I might as well wait for the PC one.

No scoping is difficult in halo, but when I played Halo 1 pc not so long ago i was like noscoping with ease.
But this guy in the video is seriously bad, especially at the start "Oh look my teammate has been trapped by a smoker in the distance, meh they can handle themselves"

But he is right in that so many of it's features have been done before. While halo has been the first to do so many things on the console. It's been there for a while on the PC. Recording has been done, map editors or garry's mod are better than forge. Dual wielding has been done don't know about boarding but it's also been done.
However the guy who said that is missing the point, the thing about Halo is that it combines so many aspects together seamlessly. And boarding in Halo 3...
Why splash out on what I am going to assume is a high end PC if you don't know how it works. Also you should be able to recognise 3.5 GB ram, and even if it doesn't show whats left over, I read somewhere that it still helps and 4gb is still better than 3.5gb in a 32bit system
:) my 4870 e8400 and 2gb ddr3 simply can't handle this game sadly. What a bunch of crap. Although admittedly my RAM is low it should definetely suffice. besides I am adding two more gig soon.

They won't do as well as last gen. Last generation the competitors were the vastly inferior gamecube, and the Xbox, which was microsofts entry into the market. Basically no competition. This gen, their sales are being hurt by the now widely known 360, and the phenomally successful wii. Sony simply won't be able to enjoy their past dominance. In fact if the Wii had slightly better graphics and the xbox had no RROD, Sony would be in trouble.

Besides having a larger install base gears is a sequel. Sequels always make more money that why many franchises turn into cash cows (*cough* EA *cough* madden *cough* fifa)
LBP was never going to be a system seller from the begginning. A casual game on a hardcore console? Not going to work. Not disputing wether it's a good game. It just would have sold better on the wii or something (after dumbing down the graphics enough :)
scale is seriously messed up...how small are the hornets and the scarab. I'll probably wait for the PC version and mod it. If there isn't a PC version I won't buy this, unless it receives 85+ from metacritic. There are simply too many other games coming out.
