its not the text. that didnt bother me. its having to use the touchpad...all the time. play DCUO, then play this. its night and day in terms of usability. i wish i could try a trial out of final fantasy on the PC..id probably enjoy it more there.
instead of micro transactions, players should be able to sell cars to other players. and also, players should be able to strip cars for parts(destroying the car). so you could buy a car with nice parts and strip it to add the parts to your inventory to be used on your own cars
it really depends on when driveclub is released. if this launches too soon after driveclub then i cant see too many people buying this. i know they offer different experiences, but they are still competing for fans of racing games.
also, the UI on teh ps4 version is garbage. they forced PC UI into the console experience and it doesnt work. If it was proper console playable, I would have got the game instead of quitting the beta.
there are a lot of REALLY good indie games these days. why do you think all of the big name talent is jumping ship from big studios to indie operations? more creative freedom.

amazon instant is really good. but you dont need this device to use it..
its not meant to compete. its meant to compete with Roku. but seriously, if you have a console, youve already got a way to watch amazon streaming. thus, this thing having no point.
if you have a ps4/ps3/360/xb1, you do not need this device at all. period.
ps3 is built on multithreading and parallel processing. that was the whole point of it.

task manager is only showing you how much system RAM a given process is using. It isnt telling you anything about the amount of video RAM (VRAM) the game is using on your GPU. Since the ps4 is working with a pool of GDDR5, they're one and the same. A newer game @ 1080p might be taking up about 2gigs of vram alone. 8gb is sufficient for a console these days.
