In order to win, you *have* to be aggressive to gain AP to get a knockout. In Smash you can hide until someone gets to 100% and jump into the fray and knock someone out with a single hit. It is possible to win a single life stock match with literally three smashes by playing defensively, which clearly isn't possible in All-Stars.

I said that Brawl is a better game. However, Brawl rewards defensiveness whereas All-Stars rewards aggressiveness. If you hang out on the side of the map and don't fight, you can't win. You can steal KO's in Brawl left and right without doing much work.

That's one point where I find Playstation All-Stars being superior. It rewards aggressiveness. I prefer Smash though. Maybe the sequel will be better.

Capcom is like Activision, a shell of what they once were. The people that were there during their golden years are long gone.
The only other company I know of to use it is Capcom (surprise surprise).
They aren't saying to get two jobs to buy it, just that there is more exciting news coming. There's nothing cocky in the article, just confidence. It's the author that is using words like "boasted."
The game mechanics themselves are solid. It's a fun game and has a great deal of strategy involved. People who play the game and like it are passionate about it. The game is consistently in the top five on GameFAQs and even the message board beats out newer games on release. The only thing this game really was missing (other than Crash, etc.) was polish. The game needed a lot more of it, and being a first time studio they unfortunately missed this important part.

People need to remember that Sony said nothing of the PS4, everyone else did. So, don't go nuts if it's LBP3 (which would also be awesome).
