I had a LOT more fun with CTR than I did with Mario Kart 64. The best Mario Kart, in my opinion, is still the first one.

The Atari Lynx (which crushed the Game Boy on a technical level) had a backlit screen way before the GBA did. The unfortunate part to this was that it ate through six AAs in about a half hour due to that fact.
You got to give the guy props for bringing up Galaxian. That's majorly hardcore.
Brawl was March 2008. It was the last Wii game I bought.
I'd say that's pretty successful for an optional accessory that was released years after initial launch.
Media Molecule is still going to use it for an upcoming PS4 game. The thing definitely wasn't used as much as it should have been on PS3. My daughter used ours almost every day for about 7 months just for Eyepet. Just because you didn't use it, doesn't mean others didn't. Sony said they sold somewhere of 15 million of them.

The Move failed? Is that why I can use the Move Controllers for future PS4 games and they are integrated on the Dual Shock 4?
They didn't revolutionize anything, but it definitely didn't fail.
