luck of the draw I guess... I had to put my ps1 on it's side (thanks gameshark) so it could read discs perfectly... i went through a couple of fat ps2's... but my PS3 has treated me well... just 1 lock up in Killzone 2.. and that about it.

Hope I'm not jinxing myself but.. I've had a jasper 360 since January that hasn't given me a problem. My launch system lasted almost 2 years before it gave me my first RROD... then the DVD drive stopped working... then another RROD so I sold it for the price of a 360 arcade (kept my hard drive and wireless controllers) and bought the Jasper.
I'll get it when the pro tools / ie8 issues get sorted out.
Please don't tell me that's a Range Rover on the track.
For me, the PS3 version has better colors and textures and more effects. 360 is softer but has blood. I'll get sigma (since I already have NG2) and enjoy it for it's co op feature.
Funny thing... I just finished Too Human, and I thought it was pretty decent when I was finished (though the ending was a bit lackluster IMO couldn't believe I was finished after 12 hours).. the long death scene didn't bother me, but i was mainly pissed off when there'd be a horde of enemies on screen and I knocked an enemy up and followed, sometimes it took a long time for me to land cuz my body would be on top of the enemies and i'd have to remain dormant until I hit the floor again. I would hope so. Mass Effect is my favorite title this generation.
Finally got around to starting this up on 360, but after playing Star Ocean: The Last Hope, I kind of dislike TOV's fighting system (albeit I only fought the 2 initial imperial guards before I decided to turn it off)

surprisingly, for blazblue, the d-pad isn't so bad. I know it's better on the PS3 (i love that d-pad for SFIV and SFII HD Remix), but there hasn't been a move or distortion I wasn't able to pull off (yet)
Aw I was hoping for night tracks. I enjoyed them in GT1-3
Don't mind the nonweather effects and definitely don't care about Rally racing.. but the night courses would have put this game over the top for me.

Whether it's a good strategy or not isn't any of my concern. However, I am loving the fact that I've gotten my hands on games such as Resistance, Uncharted, Infamous, & Little Big Planet.
