Most retailers don't even have the date right yet so not sure why you call out PSN specifically. It was just announced this morning you need to give everyone time to update it.
Maybe one day people like you will realize NPD is US retail only and these articles are Worldwide sales. Xbox One console sales are dismal pretty much everywhere else in the world outside the US and UK so that is why Sony's games are always much larger when total sales are figured. I swear some people act like the US is the only place that exists.
PlayStation Plus hands down for July.
We already know that this is Quantic Dreams most successful title yet and that it sold 1 million in the first two weeks. So anyone that comes here saying that this bombed based on VGchartz numbers needs to check their facts.
Exactly. We already know this from the developer but this will be like that God of War story where people don't take that into account nor digital sales. Nevermind the fact that VGChartz never has accurate numbers anyway.
Hench07 you might need to be the one who needs to check their facts. I don't believe there is any sales numbers for State of Decay 2. Instead all they gave was player numbers which don't mean anything with the game being on Game Pass.
Oh yeah yet another Minecraft bundle and a bundle of a game with the X that they've been giving away free with a purchase for 6 months now. Trust me PUBG will really show people they made a good $500 investment with it's terrible graphics and sub 30FPS.
Then again when you have no exclusives you'll throw anything out there in a bundle.
What's embarrassing is this article which acts like Sony doesn't offer Cross-Play with anything. I like how it says that PlayStation owners are always on their own when Sony supports Cross-Play with PC and Mobile, you know the two other biggest platforms.
Microsoft and Nintendo just want it to happen b/c their install bases are so tiny they hope to draw some of the PlayStation user base away.
Yep It's why I've been hearing so many players saying it looked really bad. The person on Resetera did good work on finding this. Xbox and Square should be ashamed of themselves for false advertising.
It's a remaster. I'm sure if Gears of War Ultimate was on GWG you'd be screaming that it isn't a 2006 game because it's a remaster. Even if all you can play is the PS4 lineup the value is still greater than pretty much the entire GWG lineup.
The remaster came out on PS4 in 2016. It makes no sense for me to list the PS3 release date.
"Destroys" isn't the term I would use. The average wasn't that big a difference and if you look at the individual games they aren't far off either. The Plus lineup had two games that really brought the average down plus the average is divided by a higher number than the GWG lineup is which always affects it. There's a lot of things involved.
Also "expensive Vita games"? Each of the PS4 games is $30 where GWG has three games valued at $15...
It's really not up to me to tell you whether the games are good or bad. What's good in my eyes isn't always going to be good in yours or someone else's eyes. I loved Heavy Rain back in the day but you know what? Those style of games don't appeal to a lot of people. Likewise I enjoyed Assault Android Cactus when it released on PS4 yet many others will write it off as being indie trash. Form your own opinion.
Yep although in Sony's case it started around Summer of last year. That's when we really started getting consistent retail games on the service versus indie games. Infamous, Until Dawn, Killing Floor 2, MGS5, Just Cause 3, etc.
What a joke article. Sony is the most consistent of the three of keeping their audience and some Cross-Play nonsense isn't going to change that. They have released 4 consoles and all four have sold at least 80 million. No one else has been that consistent. The early PS3 days were a nightmare and they still ended up with a huge audience. Trust me PS5 will be just fine.
Why did this have to be made into an article? Sony simply forgot to post the video and uploaded it way late. Seems they are just looking for something to hate on Sony about.
Pretty huge news. Offering the choice to download or stream the games is a huge plus. Of course this will only be for PS4 games and maybe the PS2 classics they recently added to the service but it's a start. Maybe next gen they'll have the power they need to make PS3 games possible to download as well.
When Sony announces shipped numbers that is what they sold to retailers. When they say "Sold Through" that means sold to customers. God of War Sold Through 3.1 million in the first 3 days.
Hater logic "I'd rather believe the made up numbers that VGChartz puts out rather than the actual numbers we get from the Publisher." Makes sense.
Really hope this makes it out on that date. It's my second most wanted game this year just behind Spider-Man.
