I have both COD4 and Warhawk...
I can honestly say, that one of the first things I thought of when playing COD4 multiplayer was: Man, I wish this was more like warhawk... with vehicles, air craft, munitions, turrets and large maps... the same can be said in reverse in regards to COD4 fps and graphics...
I will be back online with COD4, but I still find it hard to pull myself away from Warhawk... and now, I would have to pull myself away from Uncharted... and ...

It may be a stealth move to fracture the current install base for HDDVD. All current standalone hardware, 360 add-ons will be not be compatible with 3 layer discs... You cannot firmware upgrade to 3 layer compatibility...

There is no doubt that this game deserves technical achievement awards for:
Graphics: Honestly, the best graphics I have ever seen on a console. We have high poly geometry, the best textures I have ever seen, HDR lighting, smoothest dynamic shadows to date, turbulence forces... crap, it even looks like there is sub-surface lighting on leaves... etc...
Animation: Some of the best ever. Fluid, reactive, complex, emoti...
A very descriptive review... I like reviews that have content, and make you "feel" what the game is like...
Playing this game is a treat... He mentions the vista over the German u-boat... I spent about 5-10 minutes just looking into the sky... enjoying the HDR lighting, and how objects occlude the light... I felt like I needed sunglasses...
I mean really... just sit close to your HDTV and enjoy this... take your time... look around...
