Why argue over scores. They are opinions. Does it really matter to you if someone gave it a 10, for whatever reason. I could care less. I loved the game in my opinion. I can understand why some people take issue with the story, but none of that pretty stuff bothers me. It's a game, not life, so if its consuming you that some loved it and you didnt, then I dont know what to tell you. Maybe play something else.
I could care less, and dont pay attention to the politics or agenda a developer has. I avoided spoilers. I went in expecting to lose characters, and I kept an open mind. To me, the game was great. Refined gameplay, sick graphics, and a good story. They really make you feel loads of emotions. I look forward to a third if they do it.
I literally just finished it. 2 sessions with a 31 hour total. I thought it was great. The graphics make me hyped for next gen, cuz this is PS4 and these graphics are sick. Now it's time to scour the net and see what people didnt like about it. Tale of revenge, and consequences for your actions.

I think in general there could be more imagination overall put into games, no less the setting. I dont think the Viking/Norse setting has even been done that much. I'm just tired of "REALISTIC" games. I play games to play games, not life. For instance, not matter your thoughts on the game, Maneater is a "GAME" Overall, to me setting doesnt matter as long as it's done well.
I love CDPR, but it sucks that it's just the norm that every one of their games has 10 delays.
Even tho its ultimately better for the game, it still hits you in the gut. Now, waiting any moment to hear The Avengers is delayed.
As excited as I am for next gen, these companies have told us things before that didnt come to fruition. Truth is we dont know, and we wont until launch. Remember they have to sell us on a product, but that's business. I for one think both systems will be great, we just need great games to go along with them.
I think they should just have a team dedicated to the MP and make it it's own platform. Have a separate team that works on Releasing any numbered games as SP campaigns and maybe add co op into them. Maybe that's a compromise, maybe not, because I'm guessing maybe the SP wouldnt sell as well alone. I dont know the real answer, but give us something besides the same game all the time.
How about not arguing which console is going to do whatever better. Truth is we as a consumer dont know yet. When the consoles come out then we will really know what they can do. All this developer talk is just that....talk. How many times have these companies talked up their products or mismarketed them. Truthfully, I'm not even that worried about load times. I think the digital version will sell well just because there are a lot of digital only players. Also once the system goes on sale if people cant get the DD version, then I assume if the digital is available, they'll purchase it instead of searching/waiting. As far as the PSN store pricing......I think if anything prices will go up with the explanation of more development time/resources for next gen games. I'm excited for Deathloop and Ghostwire, but considering Arkane and Tango game works games dont sell that great it's weird to see them go the times exclusive route. Especially considering they are leaving behind the big install base of current gen for a brand new install base. Must have gotten some nice money from Sony. Well, hopefully they do good enough to keep these companies afloat. I need my Evil Within 3 at some point.
I would say make sure its professional, not like the last one where it was just a zoom call. Show actual gameplay. Maybe a 5 min or so gameplay walkthrough of a big game like Fable or Perfect Dark if they exist. Just bring it. Bring everything you've got. Dont hold back. They have enough studios now that they should be able to do two or three big games every year from launch. Let's go Next Gen!
Everyone on here saying if it's only 30 fps they wont get my money. Well I guess you wont be playing many next gen games then. Especially in the first couple years. I unfortunately think most games will still run at 30. I hope im wrong, but we'll see.
That's great but whatever. I love gaming. I'm not some brand loyalist. Every system has great games, and we should want all the companies to put out good products and do well. At least that's my opinion. I never understood the people hoping one or the other company goes out of business. I dont game on PC but I'm not here saying I hope they fail. Great game. Been waiting for this since they bought they rights. It's obviously to see if there's still interest in the IP, so hopefully it sells well.......because I want a sequel so bad!
It's all about marketing. They want all the attention. I am curious though of all the developers that had events scheduled after the reveal. I'm sure some of them have next gen games to show, but will sony ask them to hold off until the reveal?
It pretty much comes down to BOTW is a very stylized game and Ghost is going towards the realism. As far as the game itself, you cant judge it until you've played it. I for one am very excited.
Theres no way it releases this year. Especially with new consoles being released. Sometime between March 2021 and Jan 2022 would be a good window. That and maybe Metroid will be the next years or so big games.Then hopefully an Odyssey sequel or some major Mario game. They need to start coming up with some new franchises in my opinion, and get a new system out by 2022 and actually make it on par with next gen. But.....who am I kidding.
