It'll differ per person. If you're just starting out in the world of Playstation, this is great. If you're the average gamer it probably varies, but if you're a hard-core gamer, you most likely own or have played all or most of the PS4 and PS5 offerings. As a whole tho, it is a good list and it will evolve. So instead of screaming it's the best thing ever or it's horrible, let's see where it goes.
To me it seems this is so they can eventually develop a Sony FPS to combat Halo and COD if it goes exsclusive to Xbox at some point.
I don't care one way or the other. It's the developers decision to make their game how they want, but if they did put an easy mode in are you still going to buy the game? Yes, and you'll enjoy it, so why worry about stuff like this? Game how you want and have fun.
I would have started Saints 5 after part 2 and you pull out from the ending of 4 to see that they are playing a Saints video game in the actual story that was made by one of the members. They would have commented that it was good but it got a little too wacky and then we start the actual Saints 5: Undercover. Going back to a bit more serious tone and doing something like a The Departed story where you start undercover and make choices choosing ultimately to side with the police or the Saints....
Who really cares how much it impacts ps5. What counts is that they just make good games. Where they are at doesnt matter. People need to stop trying to convince others that one console is better than the other for whatever reason. Everyone has reasons they game, and those should be what impacts your console decisions. I like sony, ms, and nintendo, so I have all three systems. I dont care where anyone else is gaming as long as they are having fun and are happy. Both next gen boxes look great ...
At this point, no matter what happens with this game, MS should be phoning Bungie. If they plan to continue the franchise past infinite, then since Bungie is independent again, I'd be trying to cut a deal with them. It just sucks because MS went and got these Devs way too late, and their Next Gen games arent going to be ready until 2 to 3 years into the consoles life.
Unfortunately these are features that are only used in the first few years and then only once in a while mainly in first party games. Hopefully that will all change in Next Gen.
Imagine this is the remaster EA was referring to, and it ends up Mass Effect isnt real. Wow, people will flip.
I'm fine with Suicide Squad, especially since Rocksteady doesnt make bad games. My only worry here, and maybe the reason this IP was picked, is multiplayer. I'm worried they are going to focus on MP. Guess we will find out on the 22nd.
It's kind of obvious, but honestly does it matter. It's like people want MS to go out of business. Even tho MS only sold a little over 40 million consoles this gen, it's not like that's bad. I'm a gamer and I'd prefer all these companies do well and you support whoever it is you want, but I see no point in either "SIDE" dumping on the other. I play games on every system. If you can only afford one or you just prefer a certain system there should be no problem...
None of us know the real specifics with this deal, but it's happening. Also apparantly PS is getting exsclusive DLC etc. Even tho I understand some peoples gripes, I'm not bothered by this. This has happened before and itll keep happening. I do think it would be fair/cool if MS also had a character. Like with Soul Calibur 2 each system had their own special characters. I for one think this looks like a AAA Ultimate Alliance, so I'm excited.
It really doesnt matter as far as the price. In my opinion as long as it's under 500 I'm pretty sure both consoles will fly off the shelves. Regardless, people are just tired of waiting and want to secure their pre orders. I'd have to think we hear something before the end of August, but this year has been off, so who knows.
Does it really matter what went on in the past. If MS and Platinum can just put aside the past and do what needs to be done to make a great game, then I'd welcome it.
If it's the version of the character from the PS4 game, then it makes sense. If that's the case, then I'd assume Sony made this part of the deal with Marvel with the PS4 game. If it's just a random or new version of Spidey, then it's kind of dumb. Either way, if Sony gets an exsclusive character, then MS should also. Maybe Wolverine. Whatever, game looks good to me and I'm excited. Not much longer, considering there isnt another delay.
Regardless of what the game looks like or how it plays, I'd say no. Not that it cant, but whenever a company says they have some 10 year plan, it never happens. That's because things change in the gaming atmosphere, and just life in general. Come out and just say we plan on supporting this with new content, new stories and campaigns etc for years to come until we see fit. That's all. But now when year 2 rolls around and they announce Halo whatever name, loads of people will whine....
They are capable, and the games will come. The problem is people are tired of waiting, and when they have briefings, they dont show gameplay. They have a huge problem when it comes to marketing for some reason. They arent selling anyone new with CG trailers, and unfortunately they probably lost some gamers that were on board. Theres no reason to not have shown Hellblade gameplay. I dont get it. You would think someone there would say hey, this briefing isnt going to do anything positive for t...
It pretty much comes down to they seem to not understand how to market their products. I understand they purchased devs not long ago and most of the games arent far along, but the avg customer doesnt. In my opinion the games shown are probably going to be good, but they need to show gameplay. Most companies have issues with showing just CG trailers, but MS is really bad with it. If everyone of those games had gameplay, even 30 seconds, it wouldnt have been an amazing show, but in sure there w...
I understand they acquired these devs not long ago and the games arent far along, but the avg customer doesnt. If you want to sell systems to new customers, then they need to know what these games are about. Gameplay.......that's all they needed. They have the games, so just show something, even if its 30 seconds. They really dont seem to understand how to market their products. I mean a lot of companies have the whole CG trailer problems, but MS has a big issue with it.
I understand that they mostly just acquired these studios not long ago and the games arent far along. The thing is, MS should understand that your avg customer doesnt know this and in order to sell a console people need gameplay, not CG trailers. The games will come. They have enough studios that once the ball is rolling, they can put out 3 or so AAA games a year. Im not the one they have to sell on this, but this showing isnt convincing any new consumers. In my opinion a lot of these compani...
It seems most people don't understand how business works. If this acquisition goes through and he's not let go, then you can blame MS. Unfortunately now a days, people will do whatever they can to spread misinformation against any of these companies.
