I love the atmosphere and the freedom. You can basically go anywhere you want any time. You may get killed real quick, but hey they give you that option. Also the weapons are cool and they mean something. From up close and personal to ranged attacks, you can play they way you want, but also have to choose the best weapon for each different situation.
Or.....maybe the damn console wouldn't be ready to release this holiday? Why do you all assume the console is finished and for some reason they have millions sitting in storage somewhere?
If I had to guess what the Neo is, imo it's really geared towards making the PSVR a viable piece of hardware. VR needs horsepower, bottom line. Maybe even with that processor box it has, it was still too taxing on the PS4's current hardware. If that's the case, you're still left with 40 million? PS4s out there that will be less capable when running VR. It's really a case of 1 step forward and another back if that's the case.
I agree with Greg in this one. People are overreacting big time on a RUMOR of what may or may not be the features and their affects on the PS4.
However,IF this new piece of hardware can run games at not only higher resolutions but also better/more stable frame rates that can be an issue. If that happens, Sony may have shot themselves in the foot as it will affect the trust many consumers have in them. Many buy consoles over PC gaming for the reason that a specific console...
I do agree, but dropping resolution doesn't mean you'd automatically get a stable 60 fps, there's more factors involved.
Don't forget VR doesn't matter lol
@ Castillo and 343, just to echo the sentiments, our criticism is for knowingly releasing a game on PC that wasn't polished or ready.
I ditched brand loyalty many many years ago so my feelings come from a neutral place. I'm just so damn tired of the business practices that are going on and have become commonplace.
It used to be dlc was the bad guy, now so many games release unfinished and buggy, especially on PC.
It's not right an...
I wouldn't say it's great, but it's good like a bad B movie. Because of all the hype around launch I gave it a shot back then and did enjoy it.
I just picked up Chivalry in the Humble Bundle. I like it but there's a VERY steep learning curve.
Wait, why does it say their funding is cancelled on the kickstarter page?

Lol, I wonder who recognized her. Gotta explain why you've been browsing for escorts.
On another note, this topic is starting to get a bit old.
The series became popular because of its challenge for hardcore gamers. If that's changed, you not only piss off your original fan base, but you ruin the pace and feel of the game.
Haven't we had enough once great franchises ruined by dumbing them down for the casuals? Sales aren't everything, maintaining the identity of a franchise is more important.
From everything I've researched,Gearvr isn't even in the same league as Oculus,PSVR or Vive and it shouldn't be used as a measuring stick for the vr platform as a whole.
What? He said nothing even remotely close. How soft are you if that's what you take as a death threat? Oh I'm sorry,I didn't mean to threaten you....
@TFJWM, I think Remedy should take some blame. They did do the port so I'm assuming they knew about the obvious issues. Now they come out and say they are looking into it and sorting out what's real? Bullshit, they know exactly the state the game was released in and it is a slap in the face to gamers who know what's up.
Obviously MS shares in the blame, but it's Remedy who developed and ported the game and it's their name on the box. They need to grow a pa...
Yup, these are hideous.
Lol true.
Games are supposed to be enjoyed by all, but not all games should be tailored for everyone. Would you let a child play Hatred, Postal or a rape simulator? I hope not.
This game is tailored for a specific audience, it's not tailored for the mass market.
I rarely play mp games anymore but this would be the one to get me back. As long as it would stay true to its roots I'm in, start adding all the bs killstreaks and perks that have been plaguing the series for years now and I'm out.
And the maps, make the maps where snipers and run and gunners can both thrive. Everything now only caters to run and gunners. Nothing more satisfying than holing up as a sniper and cleaning house, or conversely being a run and gunner and...
