Underrated? On steam it has a overwhelming 98% user score with currently almost 3000 reviews. Its just that almost no big website wrote about this pretty hidden gem.

Last Sony game I bought was Gran Turismo 7, I have actually almost no Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo games. 3rd Person is totally fine, but I care less about story in games, more about action and challenging gameplay, especially fighting games. Last year, Tekken 8 was probably my most palyed game

How many Sony Studios Games were released in each of the last 5 years, how many are coming this year? + is it confirmed they don't have more in the pipeline for 2025?
And yes..quality matters, not quantity. If you have games there like Redfall or Hellblade II that are more looks than gameplay it matters a lot.
But how many of the Microsoft Studio Titles are also worth to play?
This year neither MS nor Sony seem to have even one title I care about and thats totally okay. I buy Doom Dark Age when the inevitable dlc for it is available as a bundle ..most likely next year.
But I look forward to Fatal Fury, GTA 6, The Midnight Walk, the Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, and the Capcom Fighting Game Collection 2.

But we all lost. Nintendo and Sony together would have meant better graphics, much much better music and sound (in the nineties) for Nintendo games and one less Console + Gamepads to buy for fans of both worlds.

More games are always a win if they are not bad. I bought Killer Instinct and Halo Collection years ago on Steam and for both games a PS5 version would mean more players. ..and hopefully a new Killer Instinct someday. Most new MS games however won't be bought from me on any system.
