These Studios created many great games of the past. Fear, Blood, No One Lives Forever to name a few. Multiversus could have been a success if all the free to play, live service game crap would have been ditched. Its also a damn shame we won't ever see the Wonder Woman game they were working on.
Me too. It's a damn damn shame this happened.
I think Mercury Steam is actually working on another Metroid game right now :-)
Not a rumor anymore, a statement by Warner Bros. games was released about the closure of the mentioned studios and the cancellation of the Wonder Woman game.
He is absolutely right with this one.
"explaine?"
Graphics. Look how the Switch in 2019 played a very downgraded version of The Witcher 3, a game released 2 years before the Switch.
Naming that game because its also open world, and gameplay wise it looks relatively similar.
The new Fable looks like a game that will look top notch on modern systems and might have some heavy requirements on PC.
The Switch 2 might..! have specs that are similar ...
Aye, and the NeoGeo Cartridges were like $400+
It was funny how they got small dev teams like Takara back for the ports of the 16 bit systems and later they ported the NeoGeo CD Versions to the PS1 and Sega Saturn, but often even enhanced them with extras. The loading times on the NGCD were also the worst ever...
aye, looking forward to play the Tony Hawks 3+4 remake someday. Loved the first two but never played 3 and 4 actually.
4 dlc characters in a season pass in Tekken 8 instead of 6 in a season pass in Tekken 7. Same shit as in Street Fighter 6 in comparison with the dlc in SFV. And that for the same price but with 25% less content. And the most people just complain about Annas new hairstyle.
That will never happen.
A remake of the first Silent Hill would be great. Let a team take Castlevania that is known for experiences with either Metroidvania games or 3D Combat.
..when the topic is a delay to the next year and not the game itself it makes just sense to comment the delay and not the game itself.
To be on topic for a change ..I guess it does not matter that it got delayed. 2025 is full of interesting new releases anyway. Alone Dynasty Warriors Origins, Kingdom II and GTA VI are easily taking some hundred hours already.
Can you really compare the two anymore anyway?
Sony may has only 1 big first party game for 2025 announced but they have multiple games they publish and /or helped to create like Lost Soul Aside and Death Stranding 2 and the excellent looking The Midnight Walk as well. Beside that..MS is just a third party developer now. Its like saying "oh..EA releases more games than Microsoft this year..they are better than MS" which is bs. Quantity does not matter.
Heh. Inb4 that article from a week ago about ms having more games in the pipeline for 2025 than sony is outdated because of delays like this one ^^ https://n4g.com/news/265436...
Aye, Clayfighter 1 and 2 were on the 16 bit systems. After that we got only the Nintendo 64 one that was not very good, there also was a PS1 Clayfighter in development, but it was never released
Thanks, must admit I never played Silent Bomber, but it wouldnt be on the list anyway since I only named games that got at least one sequel, ..never got into Viewtiful Joe either..somehow ^^
The 70% number is old. Its still higher on the Switch, but the later numbers are around 50% of physical sales of Switch games. And that number is already from october last year.
https://www.installbaseforu...
Expect it to be down to 40% in mid 2025.
Oh..I remember the many downvotes here when I predicted this step will be the next one. Almost no media will be released in physical form in a few years aside from some collector editions. The next Playstation won't come with a disc drive either.
I was happy with the last two PS+ Essential Game Lineups too, but this one is a ton cooler. Owned TMNT Collection on PC already, but will most likely play it again on the bigger screen.
Is Dragon Age The Veilguard worth the time it probably needs? Liked the previous games of the series a lot.
