Normally Bethesda say that all of their PS3 releases work great...which turns out to be a lie as they are usually a buggy mess.
This time, even Bethesda are admitting that Dawnguard on PS3 isn't working properly.....that must mean to the average user that it is horrendous and horribly broken.
Even if they decide one day that it is "fixed", I will steer well clear of giving them any more money.
Bethesda has already released Fallout 3 and Oblivion on PS3 - it's unacceptable that they still can't program a game properly for the platform.
The fact is, consoles are better value for money than a pc on a dollar by dollar basis. They have a wider selection of games at an overall cheaper price point.

1.01.001 came out a few hours ago, not last week. There's another patch at 4 a.m. tomorrow too.

Well done LBI - it's critical that a largely MP game gets this kind of support after release.
The only slight negative occurs when you get on the losing team in a one sided match. The spawn raping can be horrendous and everyone just leaves.

Eurogamer has ALWAYS been a Microsoft site, so no surprise they won't love a PS3 exclusive.
Stupid review. The MP beta was awesome and I played it to death. The game is worthy of a 9/10 on the MP alone.
MP will be fantastic, but 10 maps is a little bit low for a thoroughbred MP game....15 would have been nicer !!
Just hope DLC map packs don't split the community like they did in Warhawk.
Mech mode is better than Warhawk's hover mode, it's a good trade off

It's not just about bookshelves. The Bethesda post on the official forum lists the patch notes - one of the fixes states;
"Long term play optimisations for memory and performance (PS3)."
Firstly that suggests more than one issue, and bookshelves aren't mentioned.
I thought the demo was excellent, a very nice surprise indeed.
How am I going to get time to play this, Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim??? Work gets in the way :-(
