If your not very good at fighters how can I trust you to explain what makes one game in the genre a 9/10 and another an 8/10?
You don't have to be good at a competitive level, but you have to be capable at playing the game to be able to truly evaluate it and talk about any in depth mechanics if that's the sort of game being played. Oh, and of course know how to read tutorials.

Troll harder buddy because I don't own an Xbox system. Also, I already gave a list of games I felt were more deserving of being noticed for their narrative and I'm pretty sure none of them are on an Xbox system.

Sorry, but it doesn't do much special or outstanding in terms of narrative. It tells a pretty basic (but definitely fun) story which I enjoyed. its nothing worth giving an award to though.

Considering that it'll be a 2 hour long direct I'm expecting a few repeat announcements (a refresher sort of thing) with a few new things sprinkled in.

From my experience, if there's too much good news in a UI update for a Nintendo system chances are it's too good to be true. I hope its true though.

Is it really overhyping though? Pokemon, Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, Fire Emblem, Kirby and Yoshi are confirmed and likely upcoming announcements include Pikmin and Animal Crossing.

If the award was Artistic design then Cuphead should win hands down but its clear that Visual design is defined differently by EDGE. I mean the runner-up is Persona 5 which graphically isn't very special but has some really good character and environment designs.

You talk about visuals and say it needs to look like the Witcher 3, and then call BotW colour "drab"? You do know drab is used to describe darker dull colours right??? You did play The Witcher 3, and have at the very least looked at screenshots for BotW right?
Depends entirely on how strong their lineup is. Not only their own but 3rd parties since its looking likely that they'll have a big influence on Switch sales.
