You're on the wrong side with this one buddy. Maybe take some time out and shut the fuck up for a while, yeah?

Let your opposition make bad decisions? That was pretty much the one overwhelming reason this gen that decided it. Everything else was statistically minimal in impact by comparison.

@Angrymorgan

Yeah, don't care that you're Jamaican. I don't respect arguments that require IDPOL as their justification. Unironically using an SJW-esque talking point. LOL.

"The message should be end racism, not putting one races life above others, and as for all those retards wrecking their own neighbourhood's, they need shooting, regardless where they come from"

Not entirely true. I think a very small portion of Bungies original dev team under MS went to 343. Bungie was WAY smaller back then. I think people looked into this and the amount of Bungie devs that went to 343 was in the single digits.

I think Bungie had 180 developers when Halo: Reach was developed, and theres no way Bungie could've gone to Activision and got the deal they did if they lost a sizeable portion of their manpower.

You're triggered.

So, you're asking why doesnt the media talk less about protest movements in Hong Kong?

Maybe it has something to do with the protests happening in all 50 states of the US, Britain, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Syria, Denmark, Ireland, France, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, and Australia.

Hong Kong protests matter, but if you're oblivious as to why WESTERN media would focus more on WESTERN news then I have to question your intelligence.

@Innoxent

So you think all developers are going to prohibit access to single player games? Do I really need to entertain this level of stupidity?

@I_am_Batman

1. Your point was in defence of Foxtrot bringing China into the conversation for no reason. You defended the argument of 'You care about BLM and police brutality? Buhwhatabout China police?'. Textbook Whataboutism.
2. China has nothing to do with police brutality in the US. Bringing China into the conversation is nothing more than attempt to deflect from the original topic.
3. The point where you try to claim corporations are being inc...

Ah, I see. You don't understand capitalism or corporations maintaining a public image. You want to engage in whataboutism, but as soon as someone actually addresses your point you back off and say you have nothing to discuss.

Thank you for making it abundantly clear you don't care about the BLM protesters or the Chinese, and are just engaging in moral grandstanding.

"As far as I can tell Foxtrot is just calling out the inconsistency of these corporations. I get where he's coming from."

Let's just clarify this. Movements like BLM are so clearly in the right that corporations view it as no brainer to back them. That's what this really is. Corporations back whatever promises the best return. It's why Chick-fil-a can go from backing anti-LGBT charities years ago, and then completely...

You're getting pretty emotional about it. Maybe you're one of them.

If your desperation for gaming news is so strong that it overpowers your desire for societal change in race relations in the US then my point stands.

"We need this."

Stop being so thirsty for something so trivial.

@jukins

The franchise was at 12 million sales as of 2019 with roughly 16 installments. So average we're talking 750k average sales.

Man, I REALLY underestimated this AAA franchise with a GROSS miscalculation/s

Usually lucky to break 800k then. My point still stands 800k is pitiful for a AAA release.

Going to be honest. If an event like this is your last hope for entertainment, you've got more important things to be working on in your life.

Your world may revolve around a gaming company, but the real one doesnt.

"Well, MS wanted to get Yakuza on the xbox for a reason. They didn't think it was AA."

Except it is AA. Likely on the lower end when it comes to a AA budget. There is absolutely no way to rationally believe the game is AAA and constantly achieve less than 500k-600k each release. Those sales would not be enough money to recoup the costs of development.

If Yakuza is AAA then so is a game like Cuphead.

"I personally loved HellBlade: SS. There were a lot of people that couldn't dig it and I understand that. There wasn't a lot to it; you had the basic combat and a bunch of runic alignment puzzles."

While I love the game, I understand the perspective. I think one of the obvious things they need to do for with II is address the combat. It wasn't bad, but it just didn't have depth.

Well you've completely deflected away from defending the games unbalanced combat, so you can take the L on that with pride. Also, I'm still waiting for that source of yours that shows how you're so knowledgable about Obsidians development across all their titles.
