"Still better than surcharges for exceeding your data cap "
Maybe, but I guarantee your not going to be happy when after after an hour of playing your Stadia they slow your whole internet to a crawl and you can't play your Stadia anymore.
Have you actually ever had to use a bus? I'm guessing no.
Waiting for late buses missing an early bus being on a crowded bus where you can't sit and have to stand next to someone who smells ect. Being able to get in your car and go where ever you want on your own schedule is always preferable to a bus.
Anyways the point is there is a lot of benefit to paying more but owning something. And in both cases car and console provide a better experien...
"Ps4 when it came out cost 400 and ps plus 60 for a year, you do 7 years of ps plus with ps4 and it equal $820 I think I say 7 years because don’t keep their systems for 7 years before they upgrade so if you kept that system for 7 years and got ps plus every year you would of paid $820 and this is without buying any games for the system"
"Now With stadia 1080p 60 frames you do not pay any monthly fee or pay to play online so you save over 800 dollars and that...
What game engine that has nearly unlimited modding support runs better than Gamebryo?
Answer: None, not even close.
The problem isn't with the engine it's the scale of the games and and rushing them out the door before QA is done.
Gamebryo is basically just a GFX render pipeline tied to a database it's incredibly efficient at what it does. Even with out instructions the most average user...
"but gamers NEED competition out there to keep Sony in line and pro-gamer,"
I'm fine with that competition being Nintendo. if Microsoft has influenced Sony I would say it's mostly been negative things like DLC/MT, paid online ect.

"recent actions have demonstrated MS opening up and releasing their Windows stranglehold. Give them props for that. "
That's cool, I get you, I wait on a lot of games for $19.99. I know the games will come down in price and I always have more games than time so no reason to rush. Full price is for suckers.
(not that I never buy games at launch though got my pre-order of Death Stranding set)
I suspect that the reason Nvidia switched to Samsung over TSMC is because TSMC is producing so much for AMD they don't have capacity for NVIDIA in a reasonable time frame. TSMC is making all all of AMD's upcoming CPU's, GPU's plus making the chips for both next gen consoles on top of producing other semi-custom chips for AMD's partners.
The truth is there is far more demand than capacity at the moment and creating new factories is so expensive and requ...
What has Microsoft brought to the table that shows that they have "changed"?
When the xbone launched it was unpopular because it tried to remove ownership with a check in style cd-key style system in order to achieve price control by removing retail/used. If we look at xbox's plans now they are still focused on removing ownership albeit by an even more damaging to retail / used method of offering cheap subscriptions they will eventually raise the price on.

Sony isn't making dollar store games like Crackdown that weren't going to sell on the shelves anyway. They are making huge projects like God of War, Spider-Man, The Last of Us ect. games that will sell multiple millions at retail in the first week. And Sony has been really good about adding games to Best Hits and lowing the MSRP.
I highly doubt you will see day one games on PSNow anytime soon, but I absolutely think that in t...
My argument isn't about what the theme of the games they make should be, it's if they should put more focus on multi-player versus single player.
I would welcome more narrative single player sci-fi games. But if you want something multiplayer online like Warframe I suggest looking to other publishers to provide that type of content. At the end of the day it doesn't matter ...
My personal opinion is that older i5 owners are going to be in for rude awakening when the next console gen gets into full swing and all big new games start to be made for 8c/16t.
AMD is pretty incredible, in just two years they doubled the cost per performance ratio. The R7 1800x was $500 the R9 3900x is around twice as powerful in benchmarks for the exact same $500. I don't think that kind of thing has ever happened in PC before.
I get where your coming from. But the thing is all the other companies are making multi-player games. While Sony is the basically the only company making true single player narrative focused games.
So personally, I would rather have them focus on that niche than make something there is already tons of.
