No, they really don't. If you would read the whole article, it states the 360 has double the consoles sold than Wii and PS3 with a 7 game attach rate. That's not bad.

Nah, it's not the parts, just the design. There is an X clamp that causes the problem when the 360 heats up. It expands the motherboard and desolders. I think the clamp either puts too much pressure, or not enough. Can't remember which.
They make a killing on Marketplace, so I guess that would be their reasoning.
Yeah. You have to have some sort of HD receiver. If you just hook it up with the regular SD AV cable, the content doesn't look so great.

Gaming and movies are the only thing I ever use my HD for. I have considered getting DTV HD, but I don't watch TV enough to spend the extra money.

Halo 3 was all hype. Sure it's good and an improvement over Halo 2, but I play Gears of War far more than Halo 3 on my 360.
GTA is just..well you can't really describe it. I know I've anticipated GTA IV a lot more than I ever did Halo 3.
The thing is, the PS3 hasn't really proved anything to turn the tides. Yeah, it's picking up sales now, it outsold the 360 in 2007(because of Japan and Europe), and it has a great lineup for this year. That is what is to be expected from a gaming console.
