Juuken..MGS4 will be an amazing game, but it won't have more of a hit than GTAIV did and neither will Gears 2(as much as I'm anticipating it). GTA appealed to many people, because it's the best working sandbox franchise. MGS4 is stealth, which in all honesty, isn't as big a category. You don't really have to see it to believe it. The smaller chip enables the 360 to run cool. Thus, getting rid of the overheating, which in turn puts an end to RROD(since the motherboard doesn't expand due to heat).
I don't know how to describe it other than this: Think of it like a 360 running as cool and quiet as the PS3.
Well if you look at the past, good games always had limitations. The thing is, they were still good. The Wii is good in its' own ways, even with it's limitations. The 360 will hold its' ground until 720 comes. Just because it uses DVD9, doesn't mean crap. The PS2 and original Xbox had some great games, yet they weren't swayed by what limited disc space they had.

No offense, but in my honest opinion, SOCOM looks horrible compared to other things the PS3 and 360 have coming out. It won't top COD4, much less any other game. May be the best SOCOM to date, but nothing will be "ova" because of it.
