Each game is different, and like you said, you must take both sides into account. Using that logic, 5 vs 5 is NOT weak when used in a game like Gears of War. Halo, COD4 and Resistance are good examples of the type of games that SHOULD have 30 vs 30.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but EPIC aren't the only ones working on the story. They went out of their way to hire a writer, something they haven't done before.

Halo is just addicting. The main storyline means nothing to a lot of people. Multiplayer is the sweet spot. I myself only play Halo on occasion, but I do know that the game can make time fly.
Whether or not you think Halo is a good game, you still need to give credit where it's due. It has replay value..maybe not for everyone, but for a lot of people.
I prefer Gears, because I like the freedom of movement. But I always have the time for Halo every once in a while...

I've owned a 360 since it came out(I now have an elite) and Xbox Live has been great to me. I'm the type of gamer that likes to sign on random times during the day to get some online time in.
