I suppose Lair and Haze don't ring a bell. You should know those games quite well. You're obsessed with FLOPS! That's all you comment about.
I loved Uncharted, but where's the Jak love at?
I never said take the voice out. Just saying.
Imagine the disembodied voice from LBP on Portal. That'd be pretty cool.
Who wants in? Haha, that's an easy answer.
Everybody.
Way too early to start talking about the PS4. Jeesh.
Kid, seriously, leave. You keep spouting crap and that you're going to leave. So just do it.
Yeah people were selling them on the LBP Playstation forums earlier. I also saw people trading Socom betas combined with other stuff for them.
Crazy, crazy day!
Data is data, guys. I don't see how loading off a disk would confuse developers. It's either read from disk c(hard drive) or load off of disk b(blu-ray). Theres data transfer code in between, but nothing too complicated.
Kojima and his team couldn't even prevent installations. Naughty Dog used a very unique engine, that didn't have to read off the disk all the time. Kind of like background loading.
Yeah, when more developers learn how to do this, installations will b...
Online gaming is different than online browsing.
I'd love to have a web browser for the 360, but it just seems like consoles are taking more from computers instead of coming up with something fresh.
They are being very careful about what they show. Haven't you noticed? They have also stated there are a few more unannounced features. So who knows.
But yeah, the PS3's browser isn't too bad. Needs to take care of the memory issue, but I do like the zoom..when it works right.
Going to pick up Transformers before the week is up.
But, Cloverfield on Blu-ray wasn't bad either.
Wow, you guys are really one-sided. Now come on, open your closed minds for a second.
He is saying Blu-ray(on PS3) is great for movies, which it is. Games, on the other hand, not as much. The only advantage for games would be the 25GB and 50GB space. That extra space allows games to be what they are meant to be, uncompressed and true. More content, which is great.
But just think about how amazing it would be without installs. If only Sony released a faster drive,...
I'm not against Blu-ray or anything, but in all honesty Blu-ray IS slower than DVD(gaming wise). Installations aren't just because developers haven't figured the Cell out.
Blu-ray(on the PS3) reads at a constant rate, DVD(on 360) reads at a higher but inconsistant rate.
Disagree if you want, but that is the truth.
If they release Jak 4 by the end of 2009, I would be insanely happy. I mean, come on, it's Jak and freakin Daxter.
Jak FTW
The 360 already has that..in the form of Pacman Collectors Edition. I highly recommend it, too. Very addicting.
It should be up to the consumer whether they want to half the screen(sacrificing graphics) or not. Gears and Resistance look fine on splitscreen, so I see no point in not allowing it.
Yeah, sucks doesn't it? I had a 19in HD Sharp for the longest time. Whenever my buddies came over, Halo 3(especially), Gears, and Resistance was a pain.
I'm happy now, I have a 32in HD Samsung. Not the biggest, but it's a lot better.
How many times do you people have to reinstate the fact that it's 40 GB? The first wave of comments explain that.
Gears 2 doesn't need anymore hype.
