This really isn't a big deal.. but I do get annoyed if I want to play online but MUST do ANOTHER update first as these updates can sometimes take a while. I do think they are sometimes used as media grabs too. However, the 2.6 update was quick... so I hope they keep it that way.

This is seriously one of the best games ever. Also one of the few reasons I hung on and persisted with my 360 and all its problems. So no thanks to Microsoft but a BIG thankyou to Valve for pioneering and re-defining what gaming is all about.

I think neither of the consoles are maxed out. However, i think PS3 will advance at a greater pace than the 360 from here on.
The fact also remains, that the PS3's unique and malleable hardware allows developers greater creativity in how they choose to construct their games - attempting to make the PS3 to work smarter rather than harder.

Im surprised to see Tekken 6 on 360. As long as both versions are arcade perfect I'm happy. The last thing I want to see is any compromise on quality for any of the console users.
Ill definately be getting the PS3 version though. I can't stand the goofy 360 d-pad. I also like the PS3's buttons better. Yes this is obviously personal pref so no need for anyone of the fanboys on either side to feel threatened.
GT5 is going to be awesome. I can't wait to see all those customisable cars with their highly detailed interiors.
Forza 3 should be good too. Please oh please include the point to point downhills like Forza 1.

Yeah it probably does have some of the most advanced and prettiest graphics to grace a FPS on the console. Quite amazing.
I sure hope it has some innovation and game mechanics to match otherwise its going to be yet another FPS.
So far I give my thumbs up to Left 4 Dead. Great but not jab dropping graphic.. however the game has absolutely brilliant AI and innovative gameplay. The game also has immense replay value as its different each play.

The only jaggies (lack of AA) ps3 gets is from cross-platform who's development life begins on PC/360 coding.

This game is awesome. Its everything I had hoped it would be. Its obviously not that much fun playing with bots that don't scream 'Help me guys!' or 'F#ck their coming!".
I personally don't care to play single player campaign and as people have said, its only to accommodate users without internet who will inherently miss out on the fundamental concept of the game - that being team work, group strategy (through talking and negotiation) and survival.

I cant imagine this on PS3 although I wish it were. It if it were im sure they would gimpy it up. Ill get this on 360 for sure but it sucks i gotta crank up my live account just to play it. Live is such a scam. And dont tell me its so much better than PStore or PS3 online because it really isnt.
Im yet to see massive multiplayer games as PS3 has yet. Im sure ill get disagree's on this - and im sure they'll come from people that dont even have a PS3.
