Well deserved. That game was breathtaking from the beginning to the very end! I will get it again as soon as I get my ps4!
The Last of Us is so great that it stands, for me at least, as one of those few games where a movie adaptation is really unecessary, but since it will get one anyway, I hope it can retain at least some of the game's magic. I'll be there as soon as it hits the theatres.
edit: one thing that could make it more interesting, would be to creat it's own story. Forget about Joel and Ellie and show us another point of view. Something new, but inside the same universe/atmo...

I fell in love with stealth games since Pandora Tomorrow, which was my first. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of experience with the genre. Just know and played the big fishes out there: MGS, Splinter Cell and Hitman. I really wish I could have played Tenchu at the time, as I've heard it's awesome. A ninja stealth game? How the hell don't we have more of those around is beyond me!

Yes. I won't pay full price for a short game. It must have content, it must have replay value. It must be a good investiment. Other way, it'll get a price drop sometime. You just have to be patient, and with games being such an pricy hobby, I've learned to be budist-patient! lol
It is for me. I'll get a ps4 eventually, maybe next year. But so far, I haven't seen nothing that would bring the urge to upgrad now. Not only is ps3 still getting great support, but I also have a huge backlog to get.

But you DO lose your progress upon death in dark souls - every monster you've killed before is up on it's feet and with a taste for revenge when you are transported back to your last bonfire. But I agree w/ you on the respect those devs have for their fanbase. It is quite refreshing!
Great deal on Ni No Kuni, but the thing is 21.7gb! That's way too big for my HD, so I rather get the physical game. I'll get either Dragon's Crown or Diablo 3 though - have been waiting for a price drop. Not sure which one to get... hmmmm.

So far, here on N4G, I've counted 12 reviews scoring this anywhere from 3s to 6s, and 10 reviewers saying it's something around 7, (with a very few of those giving it 8s and beyond). The ending made you dislike Joel?! I'd have done the same thing he did. If anything, the ending made he seems even more human and believable - if such a thing is actually possible.
