I've been a gamer for more than 30 yrs and seeing shovelware top the charts in any region just makes me lose a little bit of my souls. I just don't understand why crap like this sells more then most quality games.
Man I wish the old people who aren't traditional gamers just leave.

In case you haven't noticed Uncharted 2 is the highest rated TPS this generation, and no other TPS will match it get your facts straight.
Each company has quality games this generation so take your fanboy crap somewhere else.
Also you act like Uncharted 3 wont score high marks this which it will.
First off what first party, and second not in this lifetime Microsoft.
For me personally when both Sony, and Microsoft release their next respective systems I will not be buying Microsoft. The reason why is they have very little exclusives that im interested in (gears, alan wake, and splinter cell).
I buy these systems for the games that define them, but when you running the same games (exclusives) that im not interested in there's no point in me purchasing said system. There refusal to take risks, ride the same damn games over and over, ...
I saw it this morning on the news I had to review my dvr to make sure I had heard him correctly lol.
My brother is a manager at a gamestop here in nyc, and even he has told me on many occasions that the company is a ripoff.
I get majority of my games from his store, and 99.5% of the time I purchase new copies of the games I want unless its an really old used; that's when I get them used at a lower price.
I plan on buying resistance 3 day one because I love the series, and I will not let some online pass crap deter me. Same goes for BF3
Only perk I can think of is saving money.

On my droid 2 I know I wont be able to play any of those launch titles coming for PSV. So your words mean absolutely jacksh*t to me.

I understand peoples feeling on this matter and it sucks for them, but for me if there's a game I want because im really interested in it or a series I love (like resistance) I usually buy the game(s) new.
If I can't get the game right away I either wait for them to go on sale or buy them used.
Either way since I love the resistance series I will be buying the game day one its not like its going to be in all the games. I have more pressing matters to...

after being taking on a trippy ride in the demo i gotta say i might have to pick this up because it truely felt different from what i've played this gen.
i don't care what reviewers say for/against this game i think this is a nice change of pace from the regular shooters, wrpgs.

i'm with you dude i loved the first two SR games, and i'm really looking forward to SR3 because the game is FUN and that's what i'm looking for.
I only use HDMI on my PS3 why the hell would I use component cables. This was sooo overblown it makes me laugh. Did any of you read some of the BS comments in that article?
Trying to find any excuse to bash sony/ps3 about why the should get rid of theirs. I use component for my 360 because its meaningless to use HDMI since it doesn't play HD disk based movies.

37 here and still enjoying gaming along with everything else in my life. I'll stop when I stop enjoying it.
I know everyone wants a FF7 remake/sequel, but for me i'd rather remakes of both FF3(6), 4, and 9. These three are my favorite FF games of all-time.

clearly i was speaking about those who only use a debit/credit card. those who use prepaid obviously have nothing to worry about.
