Well i'd rather have the option of playing it in differnt ways, and still have a top notch experience like Levine said. As stated in the article since you seemed to not have read you wont even notice that its there if you don't want to use it.

I quite enjoyed it, and I'm waiting for this to continue the story. Been a FF fan since the old nintendo days there's only been one FF game I just couldn't get into and that was FF8 I don't know what it was, but something about it put me off.
I do have a digital copy off of PSN, and maybe I'll give it a go someday to see if it could change my mind about it.
Personally when it comes to the 3rd party games i'll still be purchasing them on either the PS3 or 360 even if the game(s) look, and run slightly better on the wii.
I say this because majority of my friends have either a PS3 or 360, and very few will bother picking up a Nintendo console especially if the game(s) have a multiplayer online component.
I'll pick the new wii about a year after it releases since we all know how long it takes them to release...
From what I've played so far I've not had any lag or major issues. Im generally a single player gamer, but I will give U3 a decent go at the multiplayer because im enjoying what I've played in the beta so far.
So if ND is looking at this as a cost effective thing I've no problem with their decision it is theirs not ours.
Even though I liked GTA4 thes game took itself too seriously to the point where it bordered on boredom sometimes. Out of the entire GTA4 package TBOGT was the most fun out of it because it was somewhat like the old GTAs.
As for SR I liked it for the word go, it doesn't take itself too seriously and the series is first and foremost FUN to play, and has decent characters, and story to boot.
Day 1 purchase here.
i'm 37 and still game its a hobby and i love it.
since i really enjoyed the first game i will be picking up the 2nd game and enjoying that too. only my opinion matters on what game(s) i want to buy, and play.
Im not worried about how many people play or buy CoD, I know U3, and ACR are the games im looking forward to the most in november.
So don't worried ND i'll be playing ur multiplayer when I have the time. Speaking of which I think imma jump on later today to try out the new stuff.

i'm cool gaming on consoles, i get exclusives and 3rd party games. its just more comfortable for me, and i don't really go all gaga over max settings for games as i'm totally ok with how the games look on both HD consoles.
what i find weird is if it has shot by consoles, and they feel more people are gaming on pc's why arent giving pc gamers more exclusives, or going full out with the development of the games on them?

I usually buy my games new so the pass thing doesn't bother me as much as it does others.
for me when i tried it out my eyes wigged out immediately, and i know people will use/say the usual response just turn down the effect. but it would defeat the purpose of what its namesake is intended for and that's 3D.
i can only handle 3D on big screens tv, theaters so for me it wouldnt make sense for me to purchase the 3DS; i'd just stay with the DSi Lite.
i pretty much let whatever cliffyb say pass through one ear and out the other. his opinions mean jack sh*t to me. i pretty much don't have much respect for him even though he has helped create to successful IPs.
i've stated a few times that i won't be buying the new wii for at least a couple a years after initial release.
