Something tells me that Sony is not the only culprit here, MS and Nintendo probably have the same.

New levels is good, I would be a bit upset if it was just a direct port wiht nothing added, especially because I would have to pay more

yeah how can Miyamoto say it is more interesting than somehting that takes skill to play. It is like comparing painting with smearing poo on a wall.
They are super successful right now, but the people that really play games are growing tired of them. The hardcore gamer is feeling neglected by Nintendo and for those people that rushed out and got a Wii expecting support they have been lef tout in the cold for cutesy casual games. Wii Music is a gimmic any way you slice it.
yeah I hope it was a translation error, it sounds callous to me and like you mentioned kind of throws dirt in the eyes of classic games that he himself helped create.

This game does not gear itself toward any type of gamer except the casual gamer and children.

That was Squares doing, Square doesnt trust the sales of PS3 in the US and doesnt trust the 360 in Japan, so it decided to use one in one area and the other in the other. Pretty smart by Square, underhanded, but smart
This is very true. The only reason FFXIII was sucha big news story wwas because the game isnt out yet, so we arent exactly sure how much time will be between the 360 and pS3 version. MGS4 is out now and people are already palying it, who cares if they try to port it now, we would have to wait a year for it anyway.
I doubt kojima would go the route of selling out, he may get a serious talking to by Sony. That being said though I wouldnt doubt it one bit. Seems that exclusives are a thing of the past nowadays.
Yeah sony name is being used a bit here to push an agenda, interesting to find out though. I think names of PC manufacturers should be added as well.
