This should be upfront, pre-orders that make you wait for the giveaway are lame. Giving out the merchandise before the game launch helps build buzz, why wait until it launches? I am seeing more companies giving the giveaways upfront unless it is some kind of DLC, then it makes sense for it to be on launch day, like LBP costumes, etc.

The problem is that the fine print is on the website, not the flyer they give you in the store. And it is for the tank not the game. The point is why bother pre-ordering with Best Buy if you aren't guaranteed anything, the tanks are at least 8 per store, I am sure they will get a ton more pre-orders and those people will get nothing.
No pre-order specials can come with the pre-order, fallout 3 you get a bottle opener up front with the pre-order, fable 2 you get the pub games up front with the pre-order. invalid argument my friend.

Japan has gotten a PSP Phantasy Star and is also getting a DS version. The US hasnt gotten any handheld love yet.
Any Phantasy Star enthusiasts needs to grab this game. If you have not played PSU or PSO then this may take some getting used to, think Monster Hunter or a simpler WoW set in space.
