Something's not right about the article. It's comparing the cost for developing an Xbox version to a PS3 version as if they're two different games. When you make an Xbox version, you already spend money on most of the development that is transferable to the PS3 at little to no cost, like the gameplay, story, art etc. The marketing is transferable also, you just need to add an extra PS3 logo to the ad.
It doesn't seem like it cost that much just for porting the game to a PS3 version...
my sex coach?
I'm surprised people would spend $250 on the PSP Go while complaining about the PS3 being too expensive.
Yup, PSP Go is the way to go, skip the middleman.
Or skip everyone with a hacked PSP, haha....
blame Apple, they started it, at least Sony is still releasing umd versions.
Haha...yeah, so...are we getting all sorts of announcements this week regarding more future announcements to be made?
Totally no point comparing $.99 games to PSN games, you get a lot more quality games on the PSN with better graphics and a whole library of PSOne classics.
I do agree that the price point of the PSP Go is a little expensive. But that is something consumers have control over, if the device doesn't sell, it will drop in price, simple Econ basics. If you want it bad enough you will buy it if you don't then you will wait until the price is right for you, no point in complaining about it. ...
There are only so many ways to design how you ride the Shiva sisters. This is probably the least provocative design they can think of.
Attaching to dinner plates wouldn't work because the trigger buttons will be inaccessible when your fingers are behind the wheel. A better solution is to wrap a garden hose around your PS3 controller and fuse them together in a circle, maybe use some rubber bands to secure them at the handle.
I got 10 out of 14 from the link above! It's hard, the cars a flawless, but the key is to analyze the background. CGIs usually have clean spotless roads and buildings, and the light reflections from the cars are usually overdone (too shiny).
Haha, you're right, I feel the PSP 2000/3000 is a bargain after they announce the full specs on Go. It's making me wanting to get the PSP2000 even though I never considered getting a PSP!
It'll be cool if they make a PSP Go version with a slide out cover.
They don't need to translate anything, it may very well be the same Japanese contents made for the PS3 version. They just put the contents in the wrong site/template.
I guess Sony wants to start slowly in the transition to digital distribution. They're not going to expect a lot of sales out of this, a lot of people still wants a physical copy of their games, or they don't have a fast enough internet, or they like to purchase from bargain bins.
Just wait a month or two, the price will drop dramatically if there's no demand. I believe it will be $200 in no time.
How do you make an adapter for PSP Go to accept Pro Duo memory stick? The adapter will magically shrink a pro duo to the size of a M2?
I don't understand why people complain the lack of buttons on Natal. It's very easy to incorporate buttons to work in Natal, you can even use the xbox controller.
They may as well announce FFXVI, FFXVII, FFXVIII, FFXIX, FFXX. none of them will ever come out anyways!
the PSP Go seems like a direct competitor to iTouch. It's essentially a music device, with bluetooth stereo, that can play tons of games, including PSOne classics.
Good job retailers, don't sell the PSP Go, let people order them online through amazon or something.
