That's what happens when a company gets too big. The company politics get complicated, you ended up with less innovations because every innovative ideas need to get approved by more people. The benefit is that there will be more projects in the pipeline, but then it will be more business driven and lacks innovation because they see that as unnecessary risks (hence the remakes). If MS continues to get more JRPGs than Sony, eventually their roles will switch. Maybe not this gen, but next gen MS will be the RPG console and Sony will be the FPS console. Seems like it takes one gen for the transition because Sony was the RPG console for 10 years before the PS3.

It seems like everything is going back to non moving storage mediums. It makes a lot of sense for portable devices, flash memories are cheap enough to make now.
I know it's good for the consumers, but to see that the powerful PS3 hardware is only $50 more than Nintendo's piece of crap makes me feel sad for Sony, and for me too since I probably won't see another powerful gaming system for decades.....

Love the closing sentence, it's so true, playing games is a waste of time. If you're so concerned about your time getting used efficiently, then you shouldn't be playing in the first place.
Why not PSP2 now?
Just make sure PSP2 is backward compatible, and then offer a digital download version of all the PSP greatest hits in Playstation Store. A mini bluray slot loading drive would be nice, but make sure it doesn't drain the battery too much.
Not a real RE fan, but I agree that sequels NEEDS to improve over previous version! Look at dynasty warriors, it's a great game by itself but everyone's hating it cuz there's nothing new at all!

There are many cheap low end laptops nowadays, which is always better for the average users IMO, it may be a little more than desktops, but well worth it. Custom build is only for high end hardcore gaming desktops.

In Asian countries, people who doesn't even play video games is influenced by Final Fantasy pop culture: theme songs, scores, movies, and even drinks! I know people who has no interest in video games become obsessed with Final Fantasy music scores. SE rpg is a lot more influential so I say they are the RPG KING!
