It's sad that amazon got such bad reviews of the PSP Go just because people aren't happy with the price. Again.....why bash it just because it's expensive, everything eventually comes down in price. The consumer always dictate how much something cost, no matter what price point the product starts with.
drew barrymore? Somehow I only see her in comedy movies.
Can you connect 2 controllers to it? Then it'll be truly a portable PS2/PS1.
I don't think retailers have much control over what they want to sell, much less what media format they prefer. It just all depends on what the customers want. If the PSP-Go is extremely popular, they better have those stocked up otherwise everyone will just go to another store down the street that has them. Either way, people will start to buy less of UMDs.
That makes sense. I, for one, never had a PSP and now tempted to get one. I don't consider myself a hardcore gamer and probably won't spend a lot of time on the PSP, but having a small gaming device is quite useful from time to time. The itouch casual games wasn't enough to justify a purchase, but now the PSP is different, on top of those minis, there're also must-have big gaming titles that I can commit to.
So "Kristen Stewart" is Cid??? Wow, that's something new, Cid was always some old man before. It'll be cool if she's a playable character as well.
Can't wait to play this game! Looks like the CG will be awesome, and a love story comparable to FFVIII. I hope they keep the theme song in Japanese and not mess it up by Americanizing it....
They can seriously use their graphic engine and technology for something else other than racing if those are truly in-game graphics.
too bad there's no intro sequence for Lightning's summon.
I really hope that's the case. Considering the US economy and weak US dollars, SE may now treat the Euro market as a second priority.
I saw gizmodo had an article today saying how firmware 3.0 makes game load faster on the slim. Maybe that might be the cause.
Yup...good luck going against titles such as FFXIII in 2010!
Seriously, all the game developers will release their delayed games now because of the slim and price cut, I think Heavy Rain should have release last year, its graphics would have been very impressive. But next year when all these games come out, they won't look as impressive anymore.
I knew it! Thanks article for confirming.......
I like the graphics and all, but seriously.......how much control do you have over the characters? The gameplay looks very linear, you can't do much except follow the button commands on the screen. It's a little too much a movie than a game, it's almost the same as watching a real movie and pushing the pause, play, and foward/backward buttons.
$90 for 16gb is way too expensive. Memory sticks are overpriced as well...
Just buy the unlocked ones at full price. No need for the expensive data plans and no contracts to deal with.
Are the slim power and eject buttons not touch sensitive anymore?
Great, now that PS3 price is set, we have another reason to complain about how expensive the PSPgo is.
I really enjoyed FFIX's gameplay. I like how easy it was to level up and how everyone's is unique and have their own skill sets. In FFVII and FFVIII, (with the exception of limit breaks) you can customize your characters to have whatever skills or attributes you want, which I think defeats the purpose of choosing which characters you want to use.
I wish they can bring back the huge cast of characters you can use like in FFVI, each with their unique abilities and a little character d...
Yeah, the low score is ridiculous. All I see from the review is that the game has average graphics and bad controls, but I don't think it scored the gameplay fairly. He mentions that the animals are lifeless, but hard to tell whether he actually waited long enough to catch the action. If the game is trying to simulate real life outdoor photography, then it'll should make you wait a long time before you see some rewarding actions.
