That's the wonderful thing about Final Fantasy, they always do something new. You may like or hate the new concepts they introduce, but they always deliver with effort and quality.
I personally think I will enjoy the most out of FF13, because it's more focused on what I think is more important for me in a RPG game, cutting out the tedious non essential dialogues and mini town quests like collecting "pinewood chops". Seriously, the whole weapon/armor shop thing is gett...
Best review so far on FFXIII. I am more interested now in the game than before because I want to see how the elimination of the towns and shops will play out. In previous final fantasies, I find it very annoying when I'm introduced to new towns, because that means I have go talk to every NPC in the town, read their typical dialogues, search every barrels for bonus items, and go check out the weapon/accessory/magic shops for new items..........it's really tedious work.
My favorite part...
haha......that's even more funny than the cats one.
same here, already preordered :)
I think it'll be something like valkria chronicles, great game, good reviews, but somehow disappointing sales.
I think the 33% were people who spent 3 min looking for their TV shows and then realized it went legal and left for good........
Exactly, Home sales are also lagging behind, are we going to blame that on FXIII's shortcoming as well?
Yeah, I remember the last boss fight you actually get to use all your characters, it kinda switches in between, and it took a very long time. The game was clearly pushing PSOne capabilities, I was amazed they can play rerendered CGs in the background while having in game characters running around at the same time, something new at the time.
Looks like they got rid of a lot of the core JRPG elements and try to "westernize" the game with a lot of actions and stuff blowing up, but all the while keeping FF's traditional command based system and movies overload. The game looks very pretty overall, but I have a feeling that in the process, there's a sacrifice of depth to the game.
And my guess is it'll probably ask for a lot of disc swapping when you're on the last disc and want to go back to previous places to do side quests.
Yea......that brings up a good point. How will 3 DVD be enough when the game data takes up 8gb? Don't forget each DVD will also have duplicated game data, otherwise when you're on the last disc, you will be limited to one city/dungeon, and going to previous places will require you to switch discs. So definitely in the 25gb combined capacity of 3 dvds, you will have many duplicated data.......it's safe to assume the duplicated data will be more than PS3, since it's not necessary on a bluray...
That looks weird and out of proportion, even for a monster..........
what is the big deal with dual sticks.......I don't even use it on my PS3, but then I don't play FPS or racing game, is that what it's for? It's really not essential for everyone.....
One word is show how pointless this article is: Recession
Very good loading times in and out of battles and story transitions, in fact, I haven't seen any yet. no install?? This is going to set the bar high for all the other game developers.
Yes, thanks for reminding me, now I remember the magic items were always stocked at 99, and all those junctionings....it's the most complicated and stupid battle system in all final fantasies....
But then it was the first 3D RPG with realistic characters and settings. The extensive love story was a hit or miss, but nevertheless, the graphics and music were amazing......a ground breaking PSone game.
Haha....unbelievable...there IS motion control at the shower scene......
Besides drying yourself with a towel, there should be a lot more interesting things to do that involves shaking the controller.
Yes, the franchise "final fantasy" will not last forever, eventually, people will be sick of it, and SE will be forced to end it with a final final fantasy game, possibly called "forever fantasy" to get the hype going again. That game will be HUGE, bigger than all the final fantasies combined, it marks the end of series......
But of course, SE will continue to make great RPGs, so the name changing is just all about the money. If they do it right and the last...
Typo???
There are some water ballerinas right at the beginning of the trailer, I wonder if that's one of the summons?
Yeah, that comes as a surprise to me too, how much does a patent cost?
