Well, I do like using Vista since it looks better and there are some convenient features not found in XP. But then I'm still getting the "COM Surrogate stopped working" message even now after all those patches of upgrades. I know this is caused by other softwares installed by the user and that there are solutions, but do they really expect everyone to know how to tweak out their problems?
I rather it be a sequel. I mean.....FFVII was good and all, but then we all know how the story goes, so.....it can get boring.
For a remake, I rather see FFVI, it's one of the best and I think it deserves a decent remake.
I do find it more ergonomic to have the X button as main button, the O is just more out of the way. The name changing is beyond me, Street Fighter was one great example of pointless random name switching.
I can totally do a term paper analyzing cultural differences based on video game box art, pretty good topic for a psych class....

I wouldn't mind just having english text and menu. It's actually better that way, just like how english voice overs doesn't go with anime anyways.
They should definitely consider that and release the japanese version worldwide.

What makes you think they won't release it on X360 in Japan. It's not much work to replace english with japanese once the US 360 version is done. They only say exclusive to PS3 in Japan now so Sony won't hate them as much, but when the time comes.....mwhahahaha
Maybe a Wii version is possible too, why stop now when they already got blood on their hands.

I think the Japan version is only a timed exclusive. Once the 360 version is done, it's really no work at all to convert it to japanese. I don't see why not, they might as well......
Square screwed over its own final fantasy franchise.
I no longer expect exceptional quality from FF13 now, or any other F13 variants, because now I feel that Square no longer spends the extra effort and time in developing a game that uses the full potential of one console.

Square really needs to stop spreading out development news so early. I rather have a pleasant surprise of a great game coming out within reasonable time instead of drooling all over the trailers hoping to get the game in a year or two.

I agree, 3rd party controllers never last long, the buttons always feel weird, they are only good for your little cousin when they come to your house to play.
