They should never have hyped it up so early in the first place. I don't think a lot of us really care about home that much, it's a good extra to have, but no one is waiting impatiently for it.

I'm just thinking...if PC gaming actually set a standard specification for their games like console gaming, wouldn't that be much better than a console? I mean, the only reason people don't go into PC gaming is because they don't want to have to constantly upgrade their computers to play the latest games...

It's an interesting ad. I think it's trying to appeal as a family game, see how cute the father son falling asleep thing is? Even if the dad doesn't get the game, the mother would get it.

Really? N64 is more powerful than ps1? I had no idea..... But I guess PS1 games had more storage capacity for Final Fantasy's cutscenes, so it won :)

Even for those who don't buy hardcore PS3 games, there's simple games on the PSN for everyone.
On top of that, now you also have a video download service.
Easy bd firmware upgrades, future proof.
The only thing that could have been better is PS2 backward compatibility, cuz that would open up a whole library of top quality bargain video games, bonus for those who got the 60/20gb version.
Nobody would buy standalones if they knew what PS3 is capable of.
If MS gets a localized Chinese version with chinese voices and all, that will be impressive.
Now if only they release a PS3 version with chinese subtitles for the asian countries, I will be very very happy since I can get it sooner. Chinese subs + Japanese voice is as original as you can get (english is not very good at translating Japanese)
Of course, Japanese version would be even better if I can read them.
I'm sure the Wii can do a price cut if it wants to depending on demands. I'm glad Xbox is doing a price cut, cuz that would force wii to do one as well, then I have an excuse to buy one :)
Monsters is so addictive! I spend way too much time on it, it's even more fun with the 2 player mode.

I really liked 8, but then it will come after 6, then 10 will come next on the list, followed by 12. 6 has both gameplay value and good storyline, whereas 8 only has a good storyline. 10 has mediocre gameplay and story, and 12 has only good gameplay. Story and character development are most important to me.
It could also be the fact that as I grow older I became less attached to video games, notice how I rank them in order: 6,8,10,12.
