As long as Sony stays true to the "PS4/Vita Remote Play for every game" promise and if you digitally download most of your main games....and as long as there is a viable high speed internet wifi connection near you, your Vita will basically be a portable PS4. All of your games on the go will be sweet. I love the Vita and am so looking forward to the PS4 release.
Ryse looked very Blah to me. The character model was generic and uninspired (although detailed) and moved like the tin man...very stiff and jerky motion....wasn't that impressive at all. Just looks like they borrowed the idea from some cable special about the Spartans and borrowed poorly in regards to motion cap.
Played this on Hard Mode from the beginning and finished it this morning....(took a week off for vacation shortly after I got it), but I truly didn't notice any issues in gameplay or AI...this game is pretty much as close to perfect as you can get. Been playing some of the multiplayer and restarted single player in Hard Mode Plus to pick up some things I missed...(trophies, items, etc...) If any game ever deserved a 10 it is this one.
Pre-Ordered PS4, extra controller, and the eye with the following games Killzone, DriveClub (full version...yeah it is different from the plus version)and Knack...picking up Infamous 2nd Son and Destiny when they drop as well.....
The only XboxOne title I am interested in at all is TitanFall and I hope it's exclusivity is limited.... if it never comes to PS4 I will probably grab it on PC.
@GusBricker all the "gravy" in the world can't cover up the taste of terd. MS has a lot of damage control on their hands and they need to give their customers what they want....so far they haven't.
@zlpw0ker
Once you unlocked your abilities and upgrades the combos were pretty sweet if I recall correctly. Also, The escorting her around was just there so you couldn't mindlessly go smashing through each area....you had to take care of her. Added a bit of strategy actually. And the additional Pigsy Perfect 10 DLC was a nice change too. I know not everyone likes the same type of stuff, but I thought it was pretty sweet.
I enjoyed Enslaved quite a bit.....it would have been better if they had stuck with the solo platform and followed with a modification of the engine used in Heavenly Sword (multiplat ruined it).... (I actually really liked both of these games)...Ninja Theory just needed to be less whiney about sales and stuff....PS3's early days were tough on a lot of companies.

Man, I know! They did really good releasing HD Jet Set Radio and even Nights, but I would have liked to see all the Panzer Dragoons, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, The "Real" Sega Rally, Daytona CCE, Burning Rangers,Virtua ON, and the Virtua Cop Series all in HD. Oh, and a Virtua Fighter like the PS2 version that included the Original Game, but in HD.. Throw in Fighting Vipers 2 in HD too. Come on SEGA!
Where is a new take on the old Panzer Dragoon Saga?!?!?....one of the best dragon riding/dragon combat jrpgs ever made. Hell, I even loved 1st two Saturn "On-Rails" games too....and even Orta on the xbox.....Saga needs a redo...either a HD remake or a new sequal all together or a HD Collection of all the original games.
All say try again later....doh :)
LOL if there was such a genre I can certainly say that Shadow of the Colossus and ICO should not EVER be mentioned in the same breath with the word "Hipster"....the writer of this article is probably sitting in his chair wearing white framed glasses with a man-scarf while sipping "Hipster Tea"... stupid Hipster article from a stupid Hipster site.
The Arabic market would be a touchy area for game developers....one "wrong" or misinterpreted message could and most likely would offend some extremist somewhere and a totally meaningless, truly unoffensive, and harmless game would become the target of some fatwa and the developer would be in danger...in the name of religion.....just silly really.
Panzer Dragoon Saga HD or Complete Collection for Vita? or Skies of Arcadia Vita? for $500 Stew. :) New versions would be acceptable too....Shining series as well....wishful thinking.
After playing the Demo a bit I am starting to feel that this is probably what Ninja Gaiden 3 should have aspired to be. That being said, I also can't wait for the next real MGS...the "Zeroes" footage looked amazing. This Raiden spin-off will also be a fun and alternate side of the MGS universe. Really looking forward to both actually.
Preordered the PS3 Limited Edition today....they are selling out quick. Looks better every time I see it. Can't wait.
The Last Guardian, Gran Turismo 6, A new Socom (would be a phenomenal surprise if they just stick to old school mechanics and new school graphics)... I would love to see a new Cool Boarders title...that played like the old PS1 Cool Boarders 2, but with next gen graphics... I can dream.....That would make me happy lol
Ahhh, I forgot to mention Valkyria Chronicles and Valkyria Chonicles 2...both excellent games...was so happy to find out that I could download Valkyria Chronicles 2 on my PS3 and port it over to my Vita and still play it. Just wish they would do that with Phantasy Star Portable and Phantasy Star Portable 2 :(
Ni No Kuni is a step in the right direction...I am loving that title....the only other that I feel had a true JRPG feel to it was Star Ocean The Last Hope- International this gen...And,even though it was a drastic departure from the original series and JRPG feel, I actually enjoyed FFXIII and FFXIII2. (no booing please!) I am actually Enjoying Ragnarok Odyssey on the Vita too. I need to try White Knight Chronicles as well...that one has just slipped by me, but if Ni No Kuni's quality is...
Really looking forward to this title. Game Informer's review seemed to miss the point evidently.
True to Kojima... a very humble guy. Both will be excellent games. Looking forward to both actually, but I am more excited for Metal Gear.... I just likes what I likes!
