I definitely put God of War in the same pantheon as The Witcher 3, Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, The Last of Us, Horizon Zero Dawn, Bloodborne.
For me personally, I still take The Witcher 3 as the greatest game ever made, barely edging out BOTW and TLOU.
I only play exclusives on my PS4 Pro and Nintendo Switch. I am already completely satisfied with each purchase and if they never came out with another exclusive, I would still be satisfied. The fact that Sony and Nintendo will be bringing multiple megatons in 2018 and 2019 makes me think this site is stupid or trolling.

That is easy. E3 2018 do a triple megaton reveal of a real mainline Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, and Pokemon on the Switch. One of them releases this year. Mic drop.

I absolutely loved Watch Dogs 2. Redeemed everything bad with a promising but mediocre WD1. Ubisoft has come back BIG time for me with Watch Dogs 2, Assassin's Creed Origins, and Mario Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Far Cry 5 looks awesome too. They redid their formulas and games got a lot more fun.
The first game ran like absolute dog crap even on a 1080ti.
The Switch is the first console I ever went 100% digital on (other than my 1200 Steam games, but PC is not a console), and me and my daughter love having every game right there.
Get a 200GB card (larger can oddly be quite a bit more, but 200GB is the sweet spot), and just put them all on there.
Now, I switched all my PS4 games from disc to digital, and actually profited in the process, and it is more convenient too. Discs are dead.

Mr. Drippy was amazing. I found Ni No Kuni with no preconceptions or expectations and me and my daughter both loved it. I already preordered 2 a long time ago. Lot of emotional beats in NNK1 and Mr. Drippy had some great ones!
I never read the comics but really enjoyed the game on PC. I hope other people can do the same on Switch. It is a perfect game for a portable console.
I backed it on Kickstarter purely for the game. I had no idea there were comics until after. I loved the game - it was turn-based tactical RPG goodness, with good pacing and solid tactics. It was 35 hours of solid fun with very little required grinding, but some for fun and challenge were just fine.
I want Bloodborne. Borrowed it from a friend a few years ago, but never bought it. Got Dark Souls II and III via Humble monthly, but I want the best of the bunch, which is Bloodborne.
H1Z1 is absolute garbage and I hate when the Doc plays it. Fortnite is free and polished and fun, and PUBG is very popular. H1Z1 has one terrible map, no scopes, a toxic small community, and is essentially dead.
The game got middling reviews, and even the ones that liked it talked about its dated UI, quests, facial animations, and the still many bugs. Ziv's opinion is that on top of all of that, this downgrade makes them even less likely to buy it.
Me personally, it looks like a $10 game I would get a year from now if it is sufficiently patched and supported. Looks like a Humble Monthly game in late 2018 or early 2019.
These aren't even the same game. These aren't downgrades, this is like they purposely tried to make their game three times worse. And from what I've seen on Twitch, it's pretty buggy, janky, and dated.
From the very little we have seen, it looks good and I think would intrigue a lot of people.
Who is the audience for this article? I won't even give it a click, because it isn't me. I like to pay less for the games I enjoy or hope to enjoy, and this entitled journalist has forgotten that his audience doesn't get games for free.
Game looks great now. I played it on release on a standard PS4 and thought it looked mostly good then. Nothing fixes the horrible paced game, with disjointed areas and story, and the boring open world.
When a first party Sony dev wants to be best in class, among games such as Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4, and God of War - that is saying something!
