Thank you. At least the lower scores leave room for improvement. I just hate that older games such as 2006-2007 games sometimes get higher scores than more recent games because of people saying how much better the older games were because of their metacritic. Standards change, but people don't seem to realize it.
Ahem... PC? I love my PS3 and all the games, but I hate it when people say "only possible on the PS3." It's utter BS.
I personally hated the Hurt Locker. I love emotional movies and all, but the Hurt Locker never gripped me. It just seemed like one endless task to the next with a very, very unsatisfying ending.
I hate Call of Duty and it's not my type of game. I just find that it's degenerating modern FPS's since Devs looking for sales have to make it easy for CoD players.
I have Black Ops and I regret it dearly. I can list of quite a few reasons why I hate it, but here are a few:
Laggy P2P - The host is always the one who has the advantage and does the best at the end.
Unbalanced guns - The guns in Black Ops usually have enough kick to them, but some guns such as the Commando and Ak74u don't at all, making them extremely easy to use.
Lack of teamwork - Changing spawns in most game modes make it a fra...

I agree with that completely, but that's why I think that competitive clan battles and large scale battles are completely different. There is a ton of strategy involved with Halo's small matches, but I love playing a chaotic game with randoms on Invasion or Big Team. I'd love for both to stay, but if Halo Reach supported large games for Invasion and Big Team while keeping MLG for small numbers, it would probably be my favourite FPS, depending on ho...
The thing I find though is that Halo would be much better with 40 player dedicated servers. A game with such large maps (Boneyard, Spire, Hemmorage) are wasted with an 18 player limit. I like the arena style of it, but Halo seems like it should have a large war-sized player count, mainly because of the vehicles. Either way, I just find it horrible to take such a large step back in terms of gameplay, since Resistance is a hectic game with large maps.
Wow, pretty nice offer. It just sucks that OnLive is quite laggy because of the way you run games on it. It's also a ***** on your internet usage. If you play OnLive for 2 hours a day every day, you will use 226 GB a month, according to PC Gamer. With a limit of 100 GB, I really can't afford it. It seems like an innovative idea, though, being able to play graphics heavy games without having to have a rig that can handle them, but the issues are too plenty for OnLive to be a success.
I agree. Many issues have been fixed in games over the course of Betas. The only thing I don't like about being a participant in Betas is that it usually shortens the game's overall longetivity after it comes out. Either way, Beta testing for the public I find is essential in Online focused games, especially MMOs.
Looks good. I can't wait for the Beta for some real gameplay online.
Halo is a great series. It may not be realistic at all, but the online takes a great deal of skill and has an insanely fun formula. I believe they had sacrificed some of the fun for a bit more realism in Reach, but it was an amazing game, too. The story is also interesting, so I can't wait to see the continuation of it. Please state your reasons for hating something before bashing it.
As was said before, how were a whole bunch of other electronics working? It made no sense.
Honestly, the thing that made the least sense for me in Halo was in Reach when
***SPOILERS***
Kat dies because of one shot from a needle rifle. One shot. It takes 7 (or 6, can't remember) shots online, but she dies in one shot when she's invincible the entire game. If it was a beam rifle, it would have been alright, but a needle rifle that's an automatic gun?
It was a prequel letting you play some of the back story that was the foundation of the Covenant and Human war. It was still set in the Halo universe, albeit it wasn't about the Halos themselves, but they came after that. Either way, the game greatly improved on the core elements of Halo, and was an incredible addition to the franchise and the 360's library. It's one of the games that make me wish that I had a 360.
@FailOverHero
No need to exaggerate your IQ.
I'm sorry... what? The whole storyline was an excuse for you to go kill people. No depth at all.
@blackpanther25
I loved AC1 at first, but again, repetition just made it unbearable. It's still a great play for the price it's going at, though.
If so... this is bound to be a new chapter in WRPG history. Bethesda has an excellent record and I know this will have a lot more in it than any other WRPG we've seen yet. Stealth kills(?) new, improved engine, great graphics - this is going to be incredible. The screen shots are really showing a much more deep, immersive experience that really involves the player. Day 1. Definitely Day 1.
I'm not sure why you're getting disagrees. People must have interpreted you.
I agree that it is very unlikely that Sony will do this for all games, as it will become a drastic change that could be criticized for no good reason. It would be good for piracy, though, as you said, since one key would mean one PS3 playing; something that's quite necessary since the jailbreak.
If that was the case, games wouldn't even be getting 1's. There is almost unlimited potential in the gaming industry, so all games are rated by the standards of genre and time released. A 10 doesn't mean it's a perfect game, it just means that it's a masterpiece.
