Guys when upgrading to a newer gpu there is ways to see if its high end.
If I said I'm getting a ATi 5000 series GPU that could sound impressive but a 5600 in not gonna do the job its a mainstream card for casual gamers. <£70

ATi Evergreen is 544 Gflop/s Double precision and its out right now.
PS4 Power7 is looking to be 375Gflop/s Double precision 2012 and beyond.

Sony only helped the ones they wanted to and left the over to their own devices.
Valve Just Enjoy making games and the Comment about the PS3 hardware being a disaster was true for a developers stand point, he was making that point because he felt that the hardware would hinder the developers and not promote great game, remember most of these comment happened in late 2006 and early 2007 before any good games came to PS3.

And Valve are only on 360 because Microsoft gave them royalties.
Only Orange Box was done by valve on 360 both Left 4 Dead games were Port by a 3rd party company.

Just look at the CPU usage on GTA IV, same computer, same settings just different GPU.
yes the AI can be a bit slow but they are generally good, but they are way worst in verses especially when running through the maps like the Bridge on Parish
