Would Strongly recommend GTS 250 1GB or 4870 1GB for first time builders.

Both cards are amazing and around £100.

I would of chosen a Intel E6300 £59.46, ATi 5750 £99.99 and ASROCK 4Core1600-GLAN £39.54

HD 5770 is almost = to GTX 285

HD 5770 is £120
GTX 285 is £255

Would love to see Zelda remakes on a so called Wii 2 console.

Improve the Graphics, Physics, Sound (in better quality) and Controls.

That would make the first **** quadruple star game, hit 100% across all review and make Famitsu come up with a new scoring system :)

If you watched the 2009 Singapore GP Damon Hill was interview by Jake on BBC and they showed footage on the Race when Michael and Hill collided

Hill first says referring to the incident, "I though it was all my fault" they start the clip "I did not see him hit the wall" Michael hits the wall "I did not see that bit you see" then the incident happens on the clip "If I knew that I wouldn't of tried to overtake him" at the end of the clip &quo...

Cryengine 3 is a midware engine (like Unreal engine 3) and is already accessible by 3rd party studio, at least I think it is.

One reason why the Next Gen is almost here.

Crytek - Cryengine 3 - DirectX 11 - PC = Crysis 2 (Next Gen ready :])

My main Digital Distribution Client is Steam, I now have 85 Games in less than 2 years.

This is mainly due to just getting Batman: Arkham Asylum for £14.99 and THq Complete Pack were it got 18 games for £26.49, so I have just got 19 games in the last 3 days for £41.48 or $68.44 only on Steam.

I also use Gamers Gate but its not that great, serves it purpose for games I can't get on steam.

If they wanted the game to be as advanced as the Movie they should delay the game use Cryengine 3 with DirectX 11.

What champ21 is saying is True.

The PS3 RSX GPU does not use Unified Cores (stream processors) but the old Piplelines and pixel and vertex shaders technology.

The 360 Xenos GPU does use Unified Cores (stream processors) but only 48 of them, Meaning that the 360 should produce better graphics as the hardware is more modern. but there is 3 reason why it does not

1st Reason, The Microsoft's first party developers are not as talented as Sony's first party de...

@ nnotdead

Depends on which games really when comparing HD 4870x2 to GTX 295.

5870 and 5970 is out of Nvidia league ATM but this is because there is no Fermi.

ATi > Nvidia (as things stand right now)

5909d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yes because all there games own.

I put this every time, There is no money on PS3 for Valve.

Steam is enough for Valve and 360 is a free cash cow.

PC gamers that don't take up steam are really missing out, even my parents are on it, for casual games of course would be a laugh to see them play L4D 2 or TF2 lol.

Yesterday I got 18 games for £26.49, that works out at each game being £1.47
I got Red Faction: Guerrilla for £1.47 hahahaha only on steam :)

I agree with most of your comment but the new Fermi line up will consist of 40nm GPUs no re-branding of the GT200 chip as of yet. Never know with nvidia.

Also the Fermi will be the biggest leap in GPU technology since the ATi Radeon HD 2000 and Nvidia GeForce 8 series.

Nvidia are really pissing me off also at this time, Fermi was meant to be out this month but TSMC’s are have problem making both ATi and Nvidia 40nm chips.

Well I'm most likely to get the ...

Its OK we all know xg-ei8ht is a fanboy for the PS3 platform

My PS3, 360 and Wii only serve one purpose and that is for exclusives, for every multi platform game I get it on PC and if its a Console exclusive I get the one that looks the best and lags the least.

Valve only like PC

they are not interested in PS3
and 360 is a license to print money.

Valve is PC all the way

Correction, the ATi Radeon HD 5870 only does 544Gflop/s Double precision, the Single precision is 2.72Tflop/s

The PS4 is rumored to be 200Gflop/s to 325Gflop/s Double Precision which is already out dated if it is to come true.
Nvidia GeForce GT 300 series GPU (Fermi) is looking to be 600+Gflop/s Double precision out of the box early 2010.
