The one reason I ( perhaps most people ) didn't buy the PS3 version is because the perfomance was cut in half compared to 360. Quality wise it was also degraded.
Although I didn't follow it when it launched it might be a big factor to the sales. Atleast it was a huge lesson learned for Platinum Games, other games since then don't have that much of a gap.
Witcher 3, DRM free.
And Denuvo DRM is notorious for performance loss.
They haven't released the SDK, REDkit, yet.
Doesn't it have VR (beta) support? Seen people play it with DK2.
I doubt any game could be funded like this, there's a difference between a "niche" game from 2000 and last past years game. There are only a few who I can come up with out the top of my head:
-Zone of the Enders ( ugh Konami )
-Timesplitters ( not big enough fanbase propably )
And I'm already going blank, there a few more who could get funded like Shenmue. But do you really think people will help EA/Activision/Bethesda/etc because they n...
A dangerous headline with that game, that console and that site. Almost miss read it.
Pillars of Eternity, because unpopular reasons.
Have you tried VR?
Would you have known about them otherwise? No.
Amen.
Tho I never played any Uncharted games, I just love him in Firefly.
"Developed by FromSoftware and directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki"
Normally I'm against pre ordering ,but I can't stop throwing money at the screen.
Well, for an indie group it looks great. Good atmosphere and setting.
I'm no fan of theirs mainly because I'm not really into hack and slash games although I did like Oddyssey to the West ( tho the combat becomes repetitive ).
I agree, the first felt more like a RPG while the 2nd and 3th became more action type.
It's called taste, either you love it or hate. And why does the budget matter?
Miss clicked on disagree, meant to agree since this happened to me too. As your elder (year of '87) I can foresee it getting worse to host couch co op. Last time we did co op was half a year ago and that was on someones birthday.
Online multiplayer saves you a lot of time when you grow older. It's there when you need it and almost as quick ( with the right internet ) as couch multiplayer. And playing something like Battlefield is something where you need your own scr...
I find it hard to get back into DAI especially after the Witcher 3, it feels like it wont age well. Have yet the urge to buy the last DLC, maybe if they release something Witch Hunt but bigger.
That's a pretty solid deduction.
Still a bit worried about how much effort would be put into it. I would love to be able to downsample it from 4k to 1080p ( since it's a laptop showcase ) on my pretty decent rig.
And in my experience, FFXIII-2 performed better playable wise. FFXIII had that annoying micro stutter even with controller whereas the other had weird frame locks and dips.
Wonder if they learned from FFXIII and FFXIII-2.
How can you not see the difference between a CGI made trailer and in game.
Why? I hope you don't expect Micron to be Microsoft.
