I thought Assassins Creed 2 and SCC sold poorly on PC. I think steam even took them down because of the DRM.
I usually think Pachter speaks wise words but this is just plain ridiculous. He failed to realise that it's not the theives that this DRM is punishing, it's the honest customer that gets the hard end.
I agree that some ps3 exclusives can be over-rated but that might just be my taste. I just can't be bothered with button mashers like GoW and slow paced games like Heavy Rain and then mediocre copies like Mod Nation and Resistance2. I thought the Infamous demo was ok, maybe worth buying when it's cheap enough but perhaps not over-rated since it ended up in the high 80's on meta. Sony are infamous for being stupid around E3. The same thing happened last year which led everyone to say microsoft won E3. That was just a red herring because sony actually had more substance but microsoft had more surprises.

lol, i wrote 'of' instead of 'off'... silly me. And yes i did base my opinion of the game off of the demo. This is what most people do when they play demos. A poor mans mario kart is what i thought after playing it. It's not like it's so convoluted that it will be any different when playing the full game.
I think it's about right. Based off the demo it's nothing to shout about.
KZ2 was always very accurate shooting at distance from the hip, it's when you got up close to an enemy you got the inaccurate bullets/recoil as a result of shooting when moving.
Lets not over react, the controls look almost identical to killzone2, they are definately not twitchy. The graphics look very similar to me also but it's too early and too poor quality video to judge.
I actually like Pachter, if you watch his videos he makes a lot of sense. He's a lot smarter than what people give him credit for.
you say there is no lag but only framerate skips and jerkiness. Every video of Natal i've seen the lag has been terrible. Can you confirm that they have now fixed this game breaking lag? Are the current flaws gamebreaking for more serious titles?
modnation is a very uninspired version of mario kart. No charm, no character, forgetable sound effects, forgetable gameplay. It's no wonder it wont sell.

This is great, I can't wait for this one KZ2 was one of the best shooters this gen. It's unfortunate that it will probably be the similar environments to KZ2, but it's understandable since it's easier to make the graphics excellent when things are symmetrical as opposed to making the flora look amazing. Kind of a cop out.

valves engine too old? HL2 maxed out still looks better than most ps3 games. Bitter ps3 fanboys don't know what they are missing.

IGN gave that poo a 9.6, what a joke. One of the few people who got the R2 review right were actually Edge giving it a 6/10. RFOM was great but I hope insomniac just give up on the Resistance series and make a game that is not in an oversaturted genre. There's a lot of better FPS experiences out there before Resistance, which has obviously heavily plagiarised Halo.
