To say that Valkyria Chronicles, Demon's Souls and Disgaea 3: Absence Of Justice are shovelware is to admit that you are an idiot that knows nothing of good games. These games do not even come close to shovelware and your statement is just plain dumb.

Nobody would even bother reading them. The best review is rentals and taking your own opinion before buying. In this day and age, games are not cheap and to buy a game based on the opinion of somebody else seems a bit silly to me.
I rented it and sent it back after a week. The single player is ok at best and the MP, which is the best thing about this game is not as great as you all would have everybody believe. It's worth a bargain bin price but nothing more.
Then I am glad they are dead. After having watched countless videos of insurgents cutting the heads off of innocent civilians and hanging soldiers bodies up from bridge scaffolds burning I can safely say that they are the epitome of inhumane. Sure soldiers should not take joy in killing but with the number of innocent civilians that the insurgents have murdered, I have no remorse for their deaths.
Now, if the men were innocent civilians then the soldiers who killed them should...

This month looks to be a bit on the dry side if you ask me. With only Splinter Cell coming, it would seem I have time to catch up on some titles I missed out on over the last couple months.
However, some hardcore Wii fans, not to name any names Sidar... snub their noses at the PS3. It goes both ways. Hoever strange it might sound, the Wii actually has fanboys too.
It is fun for a party and the kids love it. In the end however, there is nothing hardcore about the Wii. Even the hardcore games are so far and few between that it pains me to pass them up when they hit the shelves but in the end, they are in many ways just trash. With MS and Sony bringing their MC to the games, we will finally see quality games using MC and not just shovelware.
And it looks to have improved their writing skills. Keep it up Destructoid, maybe in a year or two we will look at you as a viable source for decent reviews...

Every month the NPD numbers are released we hear about how awesome it is to see the 360 lead the PS3 in North America by 70,000 to 100,000 consoles but that gap is shut within two weeks of Japan sales and leaves the PS3 well ahead of the 360 in world wide sales by the end of the month. Xbox fans are just blind if they think the PS3 is not going to kill the 360 in terms of overall sales.
This is a good sign since we all know that Gears 2 was definitely not, bigger, better, and more bad a$$. Gears 1.5 was good but it sure was not Gears 2.
