You make a few points but one I have to disagree with you on. Halo 3 and Killzone 2 have equally decent stories. I for one liked KZ2 and enjoyed Halo 3 a bit. What I liked more was the Killzone 2 online portion more than Halo 3's but that is just me.
That we will not see a 360 slim model but we will see a model next year with integrated NATAL and possibly WiFi. It won't be any smaller but be packed with more stuff.
If I recall, there was a plethora of positive reports about Vista and look how that turned out. Don't get me wrong, I use Vista on my three rigs but come on, it is an OS full of douche-baggery. Hopefully 7 will be better and more of a true successor to XP.
Can't wait to hear the PC specs for that game. Rage looks awesome and I hope my rig runs that baby smooth.
Why not buy it? There is still added value to buying the game and at the price it should be selling well.

But that is not helping it sell more than .1 million console more in a quarter worldwide. If the PS3 is selling nearly as well as the 360 at twice the price, you can imagine that any price drop no matter how big or small will erupt sales into a frenzy. It's going to happen, mark my words.

Now that they have seen how a 199 dollar Xbox 360 sells, they can go in for the kill in terms of sales. Lower the price of the PS3, release the slim model and then release a billion dollar franchise game like GT5... It will be bloody... I wonder how hard it was for Bruce to actually print something decent about the PS3... With all the months of Sony bashing he has done, it amazes me he actually spit something worth reading out.
