Did that, past the part with the aborted fetus in the sink. Tried looking in again and nothing happened.
I seem to be stuck. All the doors are locked except the bathroom which is open a crack but can't be opened :/
It's not as simple as just making an emulator. There is a myriad of technical reasons why backwards compatibility isn't in the systems.
All consoles use close to the metal APIs. The reason they can do that easily is because of the completely static nature of the hardware. Higher level APIs were designed because on a PC there are basically infinite amounts of hardware configurations. Just because the API is already basically at the metal doesn't mean that it can't be drastically improved. Improving the API has nothing to do with moving it "closer to the metal" on consoles. Console APIs used to not get tweaked...
@mwjw696 When the 360 came out it was bleeding edge technology that was better than anything in PCs at the time. So yes, $400 can get you top of the line hardware.
It's cute you think there's only a 6x jump in performance between the GPU in the Xbone and a 780ti.
1080p is a VERY small part of graphical fidelity. For example Ryse, one of the best looking next gen games but it runs at 900p natively. No I'm not a fanboy, I only have a PS4, I just happen to not be blind.
What do you think DX12 is all about? In case you don't know it's for making games on PC much more easy.
Yeah, you're right, my bad. I have a sleep disorder and when I wrote that I'd been awake for 2 days.
I never said it didn't sell more, I said it's almost tied with the 360 in sales.
It did amazingly all things considered. It's almost tied with the 360 in sales with a year less time on the market.
Your level of technical understanding is laughable. Frame rate and resolution are entirely dependent on all the hardware in the box. Frame rate isn't only based on the CPU and clock speed is pretty much irrelevant. DX12 won't be a huge improvement for the Xbox. It will be better, but Microsoft won't update the API and make it worse so that's a given.
Modern doesn't equal fast or good. The CPUs in the systems are Jaguar cores, there's no getting around that.
I don't think anyone could have predicted how insanely fast the PS4 would sell. Good for Sony. Hope Microsoft starts selling more units, a monopoly in any industry is never a good thing.
Shooters and God of War wouldn't work well because of the technical limitations of their streaming. Better to not include them then include them and have it be crap. It's just a beta after all.
I could understand having something like a $25 upgrade but cross buy? Really? How about you stop being an entitled douche.
Survival Horror is extremely profitable actually. When publishers say they don't make any money what they mean is that they don't make a similar amount of money to Call of Duty. If survival horror didn't sell anything Bethesda wouldn't be throwing so much money at The Evil Within.
No, it wasn't a triple layer disc. In fact no PS3 games ever made are triple layer.
Recycling is a thing and you don't need to get a physical card to keep your credit card off of Sony's servers. So yes, it's worth it.
