look at what happened in March. ONE month the PS3 outsells the Wii and *all of the sudden* we see FFVII on PSN.
They are so into profit they're willing to accept paychecks to make crap games that dont even sell as well on the exclusive console platform they usually choose for their games-Xbox 360.
They are soley reliant on the FF franchise to the point that they would die without it.
They kick @$$ with DS and PSP though :P

FPS just feel tired out. It would have been fine if it was third-person though.
MW2, Bioshock 2 (if as good as the first) and KZ2 are enough.

but PS3 is selling at a faster rate, and thats why people shouldnt declare the Xbox brand more popular or say that PS3 is dying because it isnt outselling competition.

I can accept it in open world games, but if you install and it and if it is optimized well enough there should be no issue (look at RE5, MGS4).
Then there are great looking games like ME, Bioshock, Gears, and Uncharted that have a lot of it.

Europe=biggest market for PS3
This "unproven" franchise has surpassed the million mark in Europe, sony's biggest market. So just freaking take it easy about this whole sales crap.

I felt cheated when I bought a "brand new" copy of Uncharted from them. It doesnt feel right unless its wrapped. This is why I bought RE5 from Walmart -_-
ok lloyd, but those are exceptions. COD will always sell greater on 360, and so will Bioshock 2 (big multiplatforms of 2009).
@ no way: Splinter Cell is due Q1 2010, I say this year because of the competition next year (MAG, GOWIII, Lost Planet 2), the fact that it has been in development a long time, and IGN "hinted at it on their recent podcast.
it seems that the guys at Ubisoft are addressing everything that was complained about AC1 and they're putting everything fans wanted.
It will be a great game indeed.

Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank 2, Fat Princess, and inFAMOUS have all been confirmed for a 2009 release date...
maybe MS thinks there is simply no reason to release their big guns next year. Most multiplatform games this year will sell greater on 360, and they still have Splinter Cell due out this year.
MS just has too much competition next year: GT5, God of War 3, new Twisted Metal, new Zelda etc...<<<BIG franchises
Alan Wake and Forza 3 are best to be released next year.
