n4g would explode lol
I wish Uncharted 2 would have it. It would eliminate pop-in and screen tearing. Which sucked in Uncharted.
Also FYI Capcom said that they built MT Framework 2.0 engine with PS3 in mind, so future installs wont be as bad.
and excitement rightfully dies down...but everytime I see a new trailer, it really does wow. Easily will be among the best RPGs this gen-next to Mass Effect and Fallout.
The next OPM will be cool with this and GT5.
If you play Cod4 single player, itll download in the background. If you go online, itll pause. Simple as that.
Edit: No actually, I was the one claiming that Metroid Prime 3 would remain as the premiere First person shooter/adventure experience on wii, while everyone else was hyping this to be the be all end all wii game, which has now been proven isnt. HV doesnt touch retro-FACT.
Edit 2: Do the disagreers want to respond?
but we dont know if they make more profit. Unlikely PS3 since its more expensive to develop for. Although thats still no reason to abandon it. It all depends on your engineers really.
Read the IGN preview of Splinter Cell. Ubisoft Montreal (the same team that is developing Assassin's Creed 2-where PS3 is the lead SKU) confirms that M$ signed a contract with them in 2007-when they were dominating.
lol.
.
but I agree when its used cheap like in RE5 it sucks, IMO.
why is number 3 bad? The story in Half life, Bioshock, Metroid are amazing.
Hell Shadow of the Colossus has almost no dialogue and to say it has an amazing story is an understatement.
thought it was just mine. They need to fix the XMB one too.
.
but I agree COD4 is king across both consoles. As a whole package its the best FPS available. And for FPS single player Bioshock is the best.
Man that twist in Bioshock is something Ill never forget, totally blew me away and only few game moments hold a candle to it (this generation).
best glitch ever.
lol yea n4g is crazy when a system loses an exclusive. Mass Effect 2 is 2010 though, so Im not expecting anything soon.
and being a Valve game, it'll probably be great. But I still cant justify the $60 price tag for what little content there is. Especially when there are other games like Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 coming out the same time.
Good that Valve/EA is embracing PS3, this shows that that EA is looking to move more franchises to PS3, so Half-life 3 and Mass Effect 2 arent are far-fetched dreams for PS3 after all.
And the CEO feels that hes powerful enough to "scare" sony into a pricecut for the PS3. The mention of the PSP was supposed to validate his statement too, but no one will call their bluff.
lol I cant wait to see n4g.
Not only that, but lowering the price would be an incentive for people to use digital downloads over owning the physical copies. That would sell PSPGO on it own.
No retaining the price may have something to do the Sony's relationships with major retailers, but this is still ripping off the consumer.
