btw FYI, Jaffe posted on his blog long ago that calling all cars, a PSN game, built on new engine, was profitable. There you go. JAffe isnt in the minority.

Sony and MS (and even some third-parties) said this would be the longest generation ever. Even the almighty MS said that the 360's life cycle isnt even half-way done. So to say that the 360 and PS3 wont be relevant in 2015 is false.

in-game XMB loads much faster now after 2.80. Try it for yourselves.
just make it so that I dont have restart the whole god damned mission JUST BECAUSE those F!cking policemen get in the way of everything. Seriously it gets so freaking frustrating having to drive over and over again (with those crazy physics too) just so I can finish a mission! Also a little less pop-in and frame-rate drops please!
Other than that, GTA 4 is fantastic! A new game expanding what they did in GTA4 would be awesome IMO. The missions (some are repetitive) are mostly epi...

speaking from experience: the biggest thing is the whole party system, and the avatars. PSN lacks avatars and party system. Also LIVE is more unified but its nothing that would put it head and shoulders above competition. Its mainly those 2 features I listed that do.
Edit: Its more "polished". It says what your friend is doing exactly, the gamer score isnt a nuisance to find, in-game dashboard loads faster than in-game XMB etc...these little things you know...

that said, Metroid Prime 3 is one of the most beautiful looking games I've ever seen.
and I dont know....it feels like it too late to overtake 360. Well...MS did say that this generation isnt even halfway over, so who knows what'll happen...
In terms of games, well...for me Sony has always had those amazing single player experiences only on their consoles. I have all three, but sony's games are really their own in terms of quality. All have great games though, and for sony, the best has yet to come. I feel like we've seen the best 360 and Wii, but PS3 has 3 jugger...
and the next Retro Studios game is keeping me from getting rid of mine.
Off topic: I wish the Wii had an achievement/trophy system...
the first 2 bungie did were like...revolutionary. The third was a good game, but not up to halo standards. ODST looks interesting though. And we're finally getting the long requested prequel, Halo: Reach. That looks very interesting too.
this game is destined to be AAA
but Metroid Prime is gorgeous. Theres a lot of geometry going on everywhere and the art style leaks of quality. Its what helps the game be immersive. Simply jaw dropping at times. Especially at the end of three. That was a holy crap moment.
