Sometimes I hate how GT5 has amazing graphics because people always say what this idiot is saying.
No, graphics is not the only thing GT has going for it. Dont make me bring up the list.
Edit: I also really want to see someone try and spin this. For this one thread I actually invite all the fanboys on this site. These are 100% in-game, and the winner is clear. Keep in mind we are only comparing the "glorified demo".
thats awesome. Episode 2 is the best imo, but its hard to get excited for episode 3 when it actually feels really far away :/
Id totally love to play a FP game from team ICO
well thank you for making an amazing game.
my stealth....what? Look at my comment below, and honestly read yours rationally and with an open mind. That is a comment that starts a flame war, you're trolling, in other words.
you're one to be judging whether people are fanboys or not, arent you POG/why dis?
perfect list, imo. Other people may shift 5-2 but for me, this list is spot on.
IW is definitely one of the better third-party developers for the PS3. In 2007, CoD4 was one of the best looking games of the year, and it was identical to the 360 version. They even independently developed both versions and I never heard them complaining about working on the system from the ground up. All this was at a time where the multiplatform games were usually superior on the 360 by a noticeably margin.
The fact is there are no differences between good multiplatform games these days. The only way to tell the difference is to have them side by side, and even then its hard to make the differences out. And isnt that defeating the purpose? No one WANTS differences.
Im a huge GT fan, but Im not sure if I can believe that those are in-game.
yeah I hope not. I thought the mall was so interesting, Casino sounds less awesome.
Problems with DR:
Bad AI
controls (including shooting)
save system
case structure doesnt allow for exploration
lack of co-op in the story mode
MW2 has been confirmed to have more than 16 new maps. What other FPS is there that has that many?
Also I recall many people complaining at the lack of DLC for CoD4.
And yes, Im slightly upset over the fact that the DLC isnt coming sooner.
the first was so fing awesome, I really hope the dont F up DR2.
having U2 or MW2 at #1 would make this my list.
CoD4 had 16 maps (thats already more than most FPS out there), and MW2 has been confirmed to have more maps than CoD4. So this game will absolutely not be lacking in this aspect.
Agreed. SotC was so empty and felt so isolated yet it was so beautiful.
My personal definition of art is when a medium is used to evoke emotion. This has been absent in most games I agree.
Shadow of the Colossus and Call of Duty 4 meet this criteria for me though. In order for a game to be art in needs to evoke emotion through the interactive medium itself and not borrow other mechanics from other mediums.
Example: Bioshock had emotional moments. FF has emotional moments. They truly evoke emotion. So why arent they art? Well Bioshock evo...
Heavy Rain looked freaky at first in that it was so realistic looking, but yea you get used to it. Also, Prince of Persia and God of War 3 look like freaking paintings, it boggles the mind...
so funny. Everyone there is so far up sony's @$$ lol.
Their two real complaints is the lack of freedom (game being linear I guess), and also that it doesnt do anything new...well if that really bothered them in their playtime, then its well justified.
