awesome score
lol @ copying and pasting the same crap over and over again. Is that the best you can do?
Im looking forward to seeing Crysis 2. It deserves to be showcased on PC.
8.9 seems like the perfect score IMO. Its not quite 9 status, isnt really pushing boundaries or is doing something really well or new, but still seems like a really fun halo game.
congrats to Bungie for another really fun and awesome looking game. I wont be picking it up but this game looks like pure fan service and thats fantastic.
If this is what sony is planning then I dont mind the gray boxes at all, still they have to give a lot of them for free.
Also they REALLY should have the level of your friends displayed on the box so you dont have to click on it.
umm...Uncharted 2 looks amazing, and will be a phenomenal game, but no, I dont think it will be as good as MGS4. Who knows maybe when I play it it'll be better, but I doubt it. MGS4 had an amazing story, every single act there was something completely new, you could play however you wanted, the levels were open, but still linear....it still is the best game on PS3 and one of the best games of all times.
looks like an awesome brawler for PS3. Ill try the demo myself to see if its worth the purchase.
looks like the reviews convinced a lot of people or....PS3 is selling...
First of all, its hard to take you seriously with that name of yours. Regardless, I, and MANY others, believe Mass Effect is the best 360 exclusive, and that game sold under 5 million copies. Actually it hasnt surpassed 3 million copies yet.
No one is hyping the game and is saying it will sell Halo numbers, it will do fine and will still be recognized as a great game.
Bioshock. Mass Effect. Fallout 3. Metal Gear Solid 4. Call of Duty 4. Dead Space. Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. Little Big Planet. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
All the games I listed, with the exception of Fallout 3 (if you count both the 360 and PS3 versions), CoD4, and MGS4, have all sold under 3 million copies worldwide. It goes without saying that these games are regarded as the best of this generation. All of them under 3 million copies. Again, just because you dont sell 5 mill...
Gears has awesome single player, Halo has really fun co-op and multiplayer, and CoD4 has the best of both :O
What I dont get is the hype. It looks really fun with a cool atmosphere and interesting story, but why are 360 fans more excited for it than something like Splinter Cell or Mass Effect 2 which look like better games IMO. Those games look phenomenal.
The multiplayer is A LOT of fun, but single player is where its at then co-op....
For me, this holiday is gonna be a phenomenal one, U2 will provide the best single player experience on PS3 while MW2 will give the best multiplayer.....I dont know how Ill be able to fit in AC2...either way MW2 and U2 are THE games of 2009.
In my view, its one for the fans really, and people shouldnt complain. I wasnt a fan of Halo 3 (which is why I dont really care about ODST) just because Halo 1 and 2 were so amazing and it let me down, also CoD4 came out. However I will most definitely check out Halo: Reach as its the last Halo game Bungie is doing and I cant wait to see how they're gonna leave the franchise with a bang.
sweet
just so you know, CoD already has over 1.1 million pre-orders in NA alone...and we're still 2 months away...
Maybe you havent heard, but Rockstar confirmed Agent was a 2010 game last week. They said it would make up for the exclusive 360 DLC.
Oh, and I agree that MGS4 was goty 08 : )
So this is where the AAAs have been made. Awesome. CAN NOT WAIT for MW2!
Edit: lol I already pre-ordered both versions and paid them in full. Im playing this game with all my friends. MW2 is seen as "the" game of the holiday season, which is why everyone will buy it.
Moving the series to PSP (temporarily I hope) was the absolute best move sega could make. They are almost guaranteed solid sales in Japan at least, they are crazy about handhelds and are crazy for RPGs. The other really smart thing about it is that it lets people "miss" the series on PS3 and gives it more hype and anticipation, which is something the series could use.
Marketing is something Sega really needs for the next one on PS3, could still turn into something big, ...
