But they *did* release Black Friday numbers last year, and this year where Sony and Nintendo have released numbers, MS hasn't. Its a first.
God Damn it looks gorgeous, this games looks hella fun, too. It doesnt even need high res textures to look good or anything all it needs is a higher resolution. Still, Ill wait for Galaxy 2 before buying a game for my Wii, I had to buy AC2 over this...

Actually, no. There are 16 maps in the game. For reference, thats more than either Halo 3 or Killzone 2.
From a visual standpoint, Alan Wake is impressive. However, your acting as if it blows Uncharted 2 out of the water. It doesn't. In fact, the critics would agree that visually Uncharted 2 is superior to Alan wake. Do I have post all the E3 awards Uncharted 2 won for graphics that Alan Wake didn't?
And thats just the visuals. Alan Wake doesn't have to deal with the insane amount of things happening on screen at one time like Uncharted 2, because it isn't that type of game. Unchart...

My God the Wii is such a disappointment. Even a bigger one is that Nintendo can easily develop AAA after AAA, but they've abandoned their old fans. I can count the number of AAA games on the Wii on my hand.
Cross game invites and the ability to join sessions (a la MW2) makes it really easy to connect with friends. And of course Cross game chat does too.
The most important thing though (IMO) is the friends list. Anytime I turn on my 360 or PS3, I check to see what other people are doing. Whether its watching a movie, playing online, etc...it should be specific. So yeah I agree you should be signed on no matter what. Also we really need decent avatars, the ones there now are a joke. ...
This is actually like, amazing. Really interesting.
All of the action set pieces are handled by QTE (although QD handles QTE differently). What you do in the game is contextual, they're not exactly QTE's so you have more control and interaction with your character, but its not as if you can do anything you want anytime, its more linear that way and doesn't have as much freedom as other games. Its the price to pay for a game like this where the gameplay takes a back seat to the story.
